Deltascape V2.0 (Savage) is a level 70 raid introduced in patch 4.05 with Stormblood. The raid is also known as O2S.
Strategy
Like in the normal mode, players will be given an Anti-gravity Gimbal in their duty action slot. Using this action will grant the player the Levitation buff, but players are unable to remove this buff themselves.
- This duty action acts as an oGCD.
| Name | Description |
|---|---|
| Tremblor | Two hits of minor magical damage dealt to all players on the ground. Always directly precedes Earthquake. |
| Earthquake | A cast that deals extreme damage and Vulnerability Up to any player touching the ground. |
| Gravitational Wave | High unavoidable party-wide damage. |
| Evilsphere | A magic damage tankbuster. |
| 100 Gs | The two highest enmity players are marked with blue circles. After five seconds, all players in these circles have their Levitation buff removed. |
| Antilight | Summons a series of blue and yellow simple circle AoEs. Blue AoEs are on ground-level while yellow AoEs are at Levitation-level. AoEs inflict Vulnerability Up and Stone Curse. |
| Gravitational Manipulation | One healer and one DPS are marked with four-person multi-player markers. These markers require exactly four players inside, and additionally act as donut AoEs.
One of the marked is debuffed with Grounded and given a blue marker, while the other is debuffed with Elevated and given a yellow marker.
|
| Aetherial Rift | Players on the ground are debuffed with Six Fulms Under for 10 seconds and begin sinking. If this debuff reaches 0, the player dies. This debuff is removed with Levitation. |
| Paranormal Wave | A cleave that inflicts a stack of Gradual Petrification. If this debuff reaches three stacks, the player is inflicted with Stone Curse. |
| Maniacal Probe | Four players, either all DPS or all tanks and healers, are marked with spread circles indicated by a black circle reticle. Tentacles then sprout underneath these players, dealing magic damage.
This attack is always followed by Epicenter. |
| Epicenter | Three giant invisible simple circle AoEs are placed on random cardinal directions, then detonate for high damage and inflict Vulnerability Up.
Maniacal Probe tentacles near an Epicenter AoE will continuously wiggle. Tentacles not near an AoE will stop moving after a few seconds, also losing its overhead marker. |
| -100 Gs | Creates double Antilight AoEs across the center and places a small spread circle on all tanks/healers or all DPS.
Ends with a massive knock-up attack that deals moderate damage to all players upon landing. |
| Death's Gaze | A gaze attack that inflicts Stone Curse. |
| The Long Drop | A Stack marker that deals knockback to Levitating players. |
| Unstable Gravity | Four players, either all DPS or all tanks and healers, are debuffed with Unstable Gravity for 18 seconds. On expiration, debuffed players explode into massive circle AoEs. |
Before starting, Each cardinal direction should be assigned to one tank/healer and one DPS for Maniacal Probe and Unstable Gravity.
Players will need to be cautious with their use of Levitation throughout the fight; poor usage or timing can easily result in the death of the individual or group.
Every time the tanks are marked by 100 Gs, all players should stand inside to remove their Levitation. Failing to do so will often lead to death.
As this fight frequently targets all DPS or all healers/tanks, dividing responsibilities between roles will keep the fight consistent.
The first main mechanic, Antilight, will create various AoEs around the arena. Yellow AoEs can be avoided by staying grounded and not using Levitation. Unlike the normal version, the blue AoEs are always covered by a yellow AoE and thus must be avoided entirely.
- Frequently, and notably near the start of the fight, a majority of the arena will be covered by both Antilight AoEs while leaving only a tiny safe spot in the center. Players should avoid Levitation during this, as the yellow AoEs will not have a safe spot.
- When Catastrophe is casting -100 Gs, double Antilights will stretch across the center, leaving only the north and south side safe regardless of height.
Another mechanic to look out for is Gravitational Manipulation. One marked player is forced to the ground with Grounded while the other is forced into the air with Elevated, then both players need three others to stack with them at the same height. Additionally, both markers must be on top of each other as they both act as donut AoEs.
- As this always targets one DPS and one Healer, there will always be three unmarked DPS and three unmarked tanks/healers. The party can have tanks and healers always float for this attack while DPS stay grounded—ensuring an even 4-4 split.
The third dangerous mechanic is Maniacal Probe and Epicenter. Players must place one Maniacal Probe on each cardinal direction to use as indicators showing which side of the arena is safe from Epicenter. The safe probe will stop moving after a few seconds and lose the blue eye marker floating above it. Players will want to run all the way to the edge of the arena indicated by the unmoving probe to avoid the giant Epicenter AoEs.
- To increase DPS uptime, Maniacal Probes do not need to be placed directly at the walls of the arena, and instead can be dropped roughly halfway from the center.
The final mechanic to look out for is The Long Drop combined with Unstable Gravity. While all players will want to stack up around the center, those debuffed with Unstable Gravity will want to Levitate and position themselves at the edge of the stack marker to intentionally be knocked back towards their assigned cardinal direction. This will result in the stack marker resolving safely and all Unstable Gravity players to be equally distributed away from the center of the arena.
Near the end of the fight, Catastrophe will attempt to catch players off guard by covering the arena in Yellow Antilights at the same time as Eathquake is being cast, forcing players to wait until the last few seconds to use Levitation.
After 10 minutes and 15 seconds, Catastrophe will enrage with a 10 second cast of Gravitational Wave that wipes the party.
| Attack | Strategy |
|---|---|
| Tremblor | Start the fight by using Levitation. |
| Earthquake | -- |
| 100 Gs | Stand inside the tank's AoEs to clear Levitation. |
| Antilight | Will create a small safe area in the very center of the arena. Any Levitating players will die. |
| Gravitational Wave | -- |
| Gravitational Manipulation | Either have all DPS players or all tanks/healers Levitate, and stack together. |
| Aetherial Rift | Once the multi-player markers resolve, all players must use Levitation to avoid sinking into the void. |
| Paranormal Wave x2 | Tank swap. |
| Evilsphere | Mitigate and heal. |
| Paranormal Wave | Will kill the tank if no tank swap occurred. |
| Maniacal Probe | Place one probe on each cardinal. |
| Death's Gaze | Look away. |
| Epicenter | Start watching the probes. |
| Gravitational Wave | Look to which probe stopped moving and run to the cardinal wall closest to it. |
| 100 Gs | Run towards the safe wall with the tank, staying inside the AoE. |

| 100 Gs | Stack together with the tank. |
| Antilight + Unstable Gravity | Move to the safe spot in the center. All players with Unstable Gravity should Levitate. |
| The Long Drop | Levitating players should move slightly towards their assigned cardinal position inside the stack marker to get knocked to the wall in that direction. |
| 100 Gs | Stack together with the tank. |
| Antilight | Will cover the entire arena in yellow AoEs, killing Levitating players. |
