Introducing themselves by devastating Tritails Training, the Xtremes have not only challenged you, but made matters personal. Professional surfers infamous for their dangerous stunts and destructive behavior, the duo harness the souls of storm divers in battle to manipulate the elements of fire and water. For the sake of your second and more, it's time you taught these gym-wreckers some manners.

— In-game description

AAC Heavyweight M2 is a level 100 raid introduced in patch 7.4 with Dawntrail. The raid is also known as M10 or M10N.

Guide

Please note that that the arena is surrounded by an AoE that will instantly kill anyone who touches it. Being hit with any avoidable AoEs will inflict a stack of Vulnerability Up, along with possibly other effects.

Daring Devils: The Xtremes (Red Hot and Deep Blue)

Red Hot

  • Only Red Hot is targetable at the start of the fight.
  • Hot Impact: Telegraphed split-damage AoE physical tankbuster.
  • Alley-oop Inferno: Gives each player a fire spread AoE marker, causing them to place a persistent fire puddle when the AoE resolves. Lingering in fire for too long will inflict burns.
  • Cutback Blaze: Marks two players with conal AoE telegraphs, causing them place a cone of fire where they take the AoE.
  • Divers' Dare: Magical raid-wide damage. The fire puddles will also dissipate.

Deep Blue

  • Deep Blue will become targetable will Red Hot leaves the arena.
  • Sick Swell: Begins creating a massive wave off one edge of the arena.
  • Sickest Take-off: Deep Blue temporarily becomes untargetable and begins surfing on the wave. The wave will use a late-telegraphed large knockback from where it spawns, dealing magical damage, while Deep Blue will use a late-telegraphed line AoE through the middle third of the arena. In later usages, Deep Blue may also cleave any side, which will be indicated by where he is currently located. The knockback can be prevented with knockback immunities.
  • Deep Varial: Deep Blue will summon an arrow under him pointing to one edge of the room, indicating where he will move to and use a wide conal AoE hitting most of the arena. The wall that he travels to will also have a wave behind it.
  • Deep Impact: Telegraphed physical AoE tankbuster.

Red Hot and Deep Blue

  • Both bosses will be targetable for a short time before they do their ultimate attack.
  • Xtreme Spectacular:
    • Line proximity AoE: Move to the edge of the wall away from the glowing pulsing line.
    • Afterwards, the bosses will do 7 hits of magical raid-wide damage which should be healed through.
  • Both bosses will then be targetable for the remainder of the fight. They will periodically equalize their HP if one gets too low (an effect of Brotherly Love). They do not get a buff if they are too close to each other, so tanks should try to keep both stacked when possible.
  • Hot Aerial: Red Hot sequentially spawns four towers towards the intercardinals. Each requires at least one player to prevent from exploding. Red Hot will jump to each tower in sequence, leaving behind a persistent fire puddle.
  • Deep Blue will use Sick Swell and Sickest Take-off again, so the party should be careful not to be knocked into a fire puddle, while paying attention to which side of the room Deep Blue charges through.
  • After the knockback, an orb will appear on the top of each puddle, which will explode as large, late-telegraphed circle AoEs (larger than the puddles themselves).
  • Pyrorotation: Red Hot targets one player for a magical stack marker AoE that leaves behind a puddle.
  • Alley-oop Maelstrom: Deep Blue spawns eight conal AoE telegraphs under him, followed by another eight hitting the initial safe spots. This will also trigger all placed puddles to explode.
  • Divers' Dare: Now cast by both bosses at once, but each does less damage.
  • Firesnaking and Watersnaking: Each boss will tether a tank, healer, and two DPS. No player will be tethered by both bosses. Red tethered players will receive the Firesnaking debuff, while blue tethered players receive Watersnaking, making them priority targets of attacks from Red Hot or Deep Blue, respectively.
  • Insane Air: Both bosses will gain Directional Disregard and jump to opposite corners. Fire and water surfboard markers will begin spawning at certain locations, indicating where the bosses will jump to and hit marked players with telegraphed conal AoEs (red: ???, blue: Plunging Snap). Each boss will mark two of their matching color debuff players at once. The fire conal AoEs will leave behind persistent puddles. At the end of this mechanic, both bosses will cast Divers' Dare again, dealing raid-wide damage and removing the fire puddles.
  • Mechanics then repeat until both bosses are defeated. Keep in mind that Alley-oop Maelstrom will also spawn exploding orbs over placed conal AoE puddles.

Dialogue

Metem: On waves and flames they ride. The deadly duo—the Xtremes!
Metem: This will be a tag team match of extreme proportions!
Red Hot: I can handle you alone.
Metem: My word, such scorn for the challenger!
Metem: What fearsome flames! He's set the ring ablaze!
Red Hot: I ride the inferno.
Metem: The flames are spreading! At this rate, the challenger will be trapped!
Red Hot: I'll wipe you out.
Deep Blue: Hey, save some fun for me!
Red Hot: Hmph...
Metem: Deep Blue's lost his cool! He's tagging in!
Deep Blue: If there ain't a wave to ride, just make one yourself!
Metem: Good gods, what an enormous wave!
Deep Blue: Bet you've never seen anything this gnarly!
Deep Blue: You're goin' down!
Deep Blue: Ugh, what a drag! Let's do this together, bro!
Metem: Both brothers have entered the ring! That's grounds for disqualification!
Deep Blue: They don't fight alone either, so it's only fair!
Red Hot: The Xtremes fight as one!
Deep Blue: Hrrraaah!
Red Hot: Rrruaaah!
Metem: Er, it seems the referee is allowing it... It's double trouble for the challenger!
Red Hot: We're just getting started!
Deep Blue: Check out this smooth teamwork!
Metem: The brothers have triggered a fusion explosion! Truly, they're deadly when mixed!
Metem: They're up! What fighting spirit!
Deep Blue: I've been saving this trick just for you!
Metem: Brace yourselves, folks! The Xtremes are holding nothing back!
Metem: Oh no, they've been felled with a vengeance!
Metem: And they're down! Can they recover from this?
Metem: And they're back in action! Can they turn the tide!?
Deep Blue: Bet you've never seen anything this gnarly!
Metem: Impressive footwork on display today!
Red Hot: I ride the inferno.
Red Hot: Yaaagh!
Deep Blue: You're goin' down!
Deep Blue: If there ain't a wave to ride, just make one yourself!
Red Hot: Hmph!
Deep Blue: Bet you've never seen anything this gnarly!
Red Hot: I'm not finished with you yet!
Deep Blue: Rrruah!
Refbot: K.O.!
Metem: The match is decided! Victory goes to the challenger!
Metem: It's all over...until next time!
