In the midst of your crowning ceremony, you are challenged by none other than the electrifying Wicked Thunder, sister of Yaana and former heavyweight fighter of fame. The Ascension Arcadia president has authorized a special exhibition match for this thunderous clash, and now the realm waits with bated breath, wondering who will emerge victorious: the unstoppable upstart, or the neoteric witch?

AAC Light-heavyweight M4 is a level 100 raid introduced in patch 7.01 with Dawntrail.

Guide

Please note that players may fall off the arena to their deaths. Being hit with any avoidable AoEs will either inflict a stack of Vulnerability Up or Sustained Damage, along with possibly other effects.

The arena is a 4x4 grid of square tiles, which is important for some mechanics.

Neoteric Witch: Wicked Thunder

• Wrath of Zeus: Raid-wide magical damage.
• Sidewise Spark: The boss gathers lightning to one of her sides with spinning electrope cubes, indicating a half-room cleave.
• Shadows' Sabbath: The boss spawns a blue ring that will fall from the sky either to the east or west of the center of the arena, summoning an untargetable clone of herself that will telegraph Sidewise Spark, cleaving the north or south half of the arena. Shortly after this, the boss will cast Shadows' Sabbath again, spawning a ring on the other side with another half-room cleave.
  • After this first usage, subsequent uses of Shadows' Sabbath will cause the boss to summon four clones in rapid succession at the four cardinal directions, each of which will perform a half-room cleave a couple seconds apart. The boss will immediately charge another Sidewise Spark herself, which will go off a couple second after the 4th clone's cleave.
  • Due to the visual clutter in later usages, it may be easier to look for which side the spinning cubes are instead of which side is glowing. The clone or boss's tail also points towards the safe zone.
• Wicked Jolt: Line AoE magical tankbuster.
• The boss will jump to one wall and summon a large cannon. The boss will slightly rotate, indicating that the three columns in front of where she is facing will be hit with a multi-hit magical AoE (Stampeding Thunder). These hits deal moderate damage and do not apply vulnerability, but players should move to the safe column, as after the cannon hits, the boss will use a late telegraphed AoE hitting the same three columns, destroying the ground and cause anyone hit to fall to their deaths.
  • On the first iteration in the remaining intact column, the boss will use Threefold Blast, indicating three sequential and alternating half-room cleaves based on which side of her cannon receives a marker (the color and symbol of the marker, blue circle or orange triangle, just indicates the side of the cannon, with no additional effects). Afterward, she will perform Fourfold Blast, with the same telegraphs but instead as four half-room cleaves with two total side changes between them.
  • In the second and subsequent iterations (except for the final, described below) in the remaining intact column, the boss will use Fivefold Blast, using the same indications as threefold and fourfold blast, but instead as five half-room cleaves with three total side changes between them. Afterwards this is followed by baited circle AoE telegraphs on players (Thunderslam), or spread markers on each player (Thunderstorm) inflicting Lightning Resistance Down II, making overlap lethal.
  • Afterwards, the arena will be restored to its original state.
• Wicked Bolt: Five-hit stack AoE dealing magical damage.
• The boss will then equip a pair of electrope wings.
• Bewitching Flight: The boss jumps to one wall and telegraphs five sprays of purple energy down from her wings, leaving gaps in between. These indicate thin line AoEs with the gaps safe. The line AoEs will leave behind purple electricity lines, which do not harm the player when moved over. The lines will start glowing in a random order, expanding and exploding in a wide line AoE (Burst). Wait for one of the lines to go off, then move into where it was to dodge the subsequent lines. The width of the expanded line is the same as distance between the residual lightning lines on the ground. During this, baited circle AoEs will appear on random players' locations. The boss commonly follows this is a Sidewise Spark, which goes off a couple seconds after the final line AoE explodes.
• Shadows' Sabbath: If the boss uses this action when she has wings, she will instead summon a single winged clone of herself. The boss and the the clone will move to adjacent walls where each will use Bewitching Flight, causing a cross pattern of line AoEs. These lines will slowly expand and explode in a random order as before, with one line from each direction going off at a time, complicating dodging the line AoEs.
• Witch Hunt: Spawns a series of fast-moving red circle AoE telegraphs that spiral inward or outwards.
• Soaring Soulpress: Stack marker on a random player, dealing physical damage.
• When the boss's health falls below 20%, she will again summon a cannon and destroy all but one column of the arena. The boss will fly to one end of the remaining column and gain Directional Disregard, making her hitbox omnidirectional. As long as her health is below 20% before the platform is destroyed, she will enter this sequence even if the initial cannon summon was for a round of Fivefold Blast.
  • Wicked Hypercannon: A persistent split damage line AoE hitting the entirety of the remaining ground of the arena. This acts as a soft enrage, so healing and mitigation are required. The boss will repeatedly use this attack until she dies or the party wipes. In between each use, there will be baited circle AoEs on random players.
