In the shadow of Kugane's renowned Mujikoza theater, you recount your clash with Sri Lakshmi to the wandering minstrel. Moved to melancholy by the tragic tale, he forgoes adapting it for the stage, choosing instead to honor the memory of the departed with a verse. So vivid are the words and sorrowful the melody, you cannot help but relive the fateful encounter in your mind's eye...
— In-game description
Emanation (Extreme) is a level 70 trial introduced in patch 4.0 with Stormblood.
Strategy
Lady of Bliss: Lakshmi
While players will have access to Vril like the normal version, players will instead have 3 charges that are refilled much less frequently, requiring careful use throughout the fight.
Vril lasts for 50 seconds and is removed after absorbing an ability from Lakshmi. This buff has two effects:
- Abilities from Lakshmi will heal the player instead of damaging them.
- If Lakshmi is under the effects of Chanchala, Vril instead counters the damage-increasing effect. Any debuffing effects are halved or completely resisted.
Opening:
The fight starts with two Dreaming Kshatrya that must be killed to make Lakshmi targetable.
These enemies buff themselves with Vril to start, attack with a cleave called Tail Slap, and a circle AoE gaze called Inner Demons—which inflicts Terror for 5 seconds.
The only effect Vril has on the Kshatrya is making Lakshmi's Stotram heal 30% of their health. Stotram is only cast once during this phase.
Once both Dreaming Kshatrya are killed, Lakshmi will lower her shield and begin the fight proper.
Phase 1:
| Name | Description | Chanchala Effect |
|---|---|---|
| Chanchala | Lakshmi buffs herself with Chanchala, increasing the potency of her attacks to players not buffed by Vril. | N/A |
| Hand of Grace | Marks three DPS with spread markers that deal line AoEs in all cardinal directions. | N/A |
| Hand of Beauty | Marks both healers with spread circles that drop Bleed puddles. | Puddles grow massively in size afterwards.
Healers are inflicted with Heavy for 15 seconds unless protected by Vril. |
| Alluring Arm | Marks three players with a mix of Hand of Grace and Hand of Beauty. | N/A |
| Stotram | High unavoidable party-wide damage. | Damage is massively increased and inflicts Bleeding. |
| The Pull of Light | A moderate damage tankbuster. | Damage is significantly increased. |
| The Path of Light | Targets the second highest enmity player with a 90 degree spread cone, indicated by a blue circle. | Damage is significantly increased. |
| The Pall of Light | A standard Stack marker. | Damage is increased and inflicts Bleeding. |
| Divine Denial | A radial knockback attack.
Players not buffed by Vril are pushed significantly farther back, likely off the platform. |
Only used with Chanchala. |
| Divine Desire | Lakshmi creates a puddle under herself that inflicts Bleeding and casts a radial draw-in effect.
Players not buffed by Vril are affected significantly more by the draw-in and Stunned for 5 seconds. |

The first phase will primarily involve positioning Hand of Grace correctly and proper use of Vril to reduce the damage of Chanchala.
Players are given plenty of time to position AoEs, but DPS should always attempt to move towards the edge to give the rest of the party enough space to keep attacking the boss.
In this phase, two Vril will be needed to counter Divine Denial and Divine Desire, with healers and tanks needing to use their third Vril to counter Hand of Beauty, Pull of Light, or Path of Light.
- In a pinch, The Pull of Light can be survived without Vril by using heavy mitigation and shields.
- In an emergency, Vril can be used to be healed by an attack as long as Lakshmi is not under the effect of Chanchala.
| Attack | Strategy |
|---|---|
| Hand of Grace | Have DPS spread out around the edges of the arena, leaving the space around Lakshmi safe for others. |
| The Pull of Light | Mitigate. |
| Stotram | Heal the party. |
| The Pull of Light | -- |
| The Path of Light | Ensure the off-tank is to the side and away from other party members. |
| Alluring Arm | Move AoEs away from the party. |
| The Pull of Light | -- |
| Stotram | -- |
| The Pall of Light | Stack together behind the boss. |
| The Pull of Light | -- |
| Chanchala | Prepare to use Vril to counteract the effects of the upcoming abilities. |
| Divine Denial | All players must use Vril and stand close to Lakshmi. Even when protected, a small amount of knockback is dealt. |
| Hand of Beauty | Both healers must use Vril and place the puddles far away from the party. Pull Lakshmi to the edge of the arena. |
| The Pull of Light | Use Vril or heavy mitigations. |
| The Path of Light | Use Vril or heavy mitigations, and point this attack away from the party. |
| Divine Desire | All players must use Vril and move to the edge of the arena. Even when protected, this attack has a small amount of Draw-in. |
| The Pull of Light | -- |
| The Path of Light | -- |
| Stotram | -- |

Phase 2 - Alluring Embrace:
Lakshmi will become untargetable again, and create two Dreaming Brahmin and two Dreaming Shudra. A 90 second countdown begins until Lakshmi casts her ultimate, Alluring Embrace.
Players will lose all charges of Vril, which will be given to a random Dreamer and swapped randomly every 10 seconds.
Each time any Dreamer is killed, Lakshmi will revive it with a stack of Vulnerability Down.
Every time a Dreamer buffed with Vril is killed, a few random players are given back all charges of Vril. The first kill returns it to two players, the second four, and the third kill the remaining two players.
During this time, Dreaming Brahmin will cast Water III on random players. This is a spread circle indicated by a red arrow. Marked players should move away to avoid damaging others.
Players should bring all Dreamers to low health simultaneously, then focus down the ones buffed with Vril.
Once three Dreamers buffed with Vril are killed or 90 seconds have passed, Lakshmi will cast Alluring Embrace. Players must protect themselves with Vril or this attack will instantly defeat them.
Phase 3:
| Name | Description | Chanchala Effect |
|---|---|---|
| Divine Doubt | Inflicts all players with Confused for 16 seconds. Players buffed by Vril are only afflicted for 8 seconds. | Only used with Chanchala. |
| Blissful Spear | Large AoEs are placed on arena. Inside the AoEs are blue bubbles that refill all charges of Vril when touched.
Has three patterns: A Z shape with 9 bubbles, a single line AoE with 3 bubbles, or a donut AoE with 16 bubbles. |
Damage dealt by the AoE is increased. |
While mostly similar to the prior phase, Lakshmi will combine Chanchala with her larger attacks, requiring much more active use of Vril. Additionally, the introduction of Blissful Spear allows for Vril to be restored in the middle of the battle.
Of note, players will need to be careful of Divine Doubt. Vril will only halve the length of Confused, so players should attempt to spread out into pairs to ensure each player is only being hit by one other. Grouping risks one player being targeted by several others and being killed.
At the end of her rotation, Lakshmi will cast Chanchala and a non-resistable Divine Denial that knocks all players off the platform.
| Attack | Strategy |
|---|---|
| Chanchala | -- |
| Divine Doubt | All players must use Vril and should try to pair up near exactly one other person to prevent excessive damage from being hit by multiple people. |
| The Path of Light | Off-tank should use Vril or heavy mitigations. |
| The Pull of Light | Main tank should use Vril or heavy mitigations. |
| Blissful Spear (Z) | All players can refill their Vril using the bubbles, then running out of the AoE. |
| The Pull of Light | -- |
| Blissful Spear | Any players that missed the bubbles in the first Blissful Spear can grab a bubble here. |
| The Path of Light | -- |
| The Pall of Light | Stack together behind the boss. |
| Alluring Arm | Spread out the AoEs. |
| The Pull of Light | -- |
| The Path of Light | -- |
| Stotram | -- |
| Chanchala | -- |
| Divine Doubt | Use Vril and pair up as before. |
| The Pall of Light | All players should use Vril and stack together. |
| Blissful Spear (Donut) + Divine Desire | Use Vril, grab a bubble from the Blissful Spear, then stand just outside the Donut AoE to ensure Vril negates the Divine Desire. |
| Blissful Spear (Z) | All players should use a Vril and then refill from the bubbles. |
| The Pall of Light | All players should use Vril and stack together. |
| Stotram | All players must immediately use Vril again to minimize the damage of this attack. |
| Alluring Arm | Spread out the AoEs. |
| The Pall of Light | Stack together behind the boss. |
| The Path of Light | -- |
| Stotram | -- |
| The Pull of Light | -- |
