The Minstrel's Ballad: Sphene's Burden is a level 100 trial introduced in patch 7.1 with Dawntrail.
Mechanics & Timeline
Please note that players may fall off the arena to their deaths.
Note: Throughout the duration of the fight, the boss targets both of the top two players in aggro with auto-attacks.

| Prosecution of War | Single-target tankbuster that applies |
| Divide and Conquer | Line AOE that targets every player, then repeats in the same position after a delay. |
| Royal Domain | Light raidwide damage. |
| Laws of Earth | Spawns eight towers to be soaked. Players must be grounded to soak the tower.

| Gravitational Empire | On each platform: spawns two towers, targets one Player with Gravity Pillar and one Player with Gravity Ray.

| Meteor Impact | Spawns meteors on Player's location. |
| Weighty Blow | Targets a random Player on each platform with a single-target attack. If hit will instantly kill Player. Can be line-of-sight dodged behind a meteor. |
| Coronation | Spawns four lasers around the platform and tethers each Player to one side of the laser. Tethered Players position determines the position of the laser. |
| Atomic Ray | Large point blank AOE on all Players. |
| Ruthless Regalia | Large line AOE fired from triangles. |
| Absolute Authority | Periodic raid damage with many types of AoEs: Baits, Proximity, stack, and red dorito markers |

| Rush | Line AoE on tethered player. Deals lethal damage if tether is not stretched. |
| Drear Rising | Spawns one shared line AOE on 1 player and tethers to two Players. Tethered Players will have a large point blank AOE on them.

| Authority Eternal | High raidwide damage that serves as a Phase 1 enrage. Party will wipe if boss is not at 0.1% health when cast finishes. |
| Radical Shift | Large pointblank AOEs on all Players while changing the Platform to one of three forms. |
| Dimensional Distortion | Exaflare AOEs. |
| Tyranny's Grasp | Destroys the front half of the platform and spawns two tank towers that must be soaked. |
| Dying Memory | Multi-hit raidwide damage. |
| Royal Banishment | Multi-hit shared line AOE. |
