Splendorous Tools
By crafting or gathering specified items, players can obtain class-specific level 90 Splendorous Tools for Disciples of the Hand and Land.
Crafters will need to equip the relic and craft Collectables. All steps require a mix of regular materials and "Select" materials, which are purchased with 
Purple Crafters' Scrips.
For players at level 100 or above, most of the crafting relic steps can be trivialized by 
Trained Eye, which automatically fills the quality or collectability bar to maximum, provided the craft is 10 or more levels below the crafter's level. The only steps that cannot be trivialized in this way are the final two, as they require crafting 
Expert Recipes that forbid Trained Eye. However, the stats gained from level 100+ crafting gear can still make the crafts relatively easy to complete with macros.
Gatherers will need to equip the relic and gather Collectables. From the "Chora-Zoi's" step onward, the collectables can be either turned in for the reward items, or converted into their reward items by using 
Aetherial Reduction. Reduction of a 1000 collectability item yields either the same or double the amount that turning it in would, meaning the Aetherial Reduction grants the reward items at a faster pace.
Botanist and Miner additionally need to collect hidden items, which are located on the same nodes as the collectables.
Fisher will need to use the special bait item 
Select Bait Ball in order to catch the necessary fish.
From the "Crystalline" step onward, these relics also have an additional effect exclusive to relic tools:
- For crafters: Increases to quality are 1.75 times higher than normal when material condition is Good.
- For
Botanist and 
Miner: Increases the chance to trigger Collector's Intuition by 20% when gathering collectables. - For
Fisher: Has a chance to reduce the GP cost of 
Powerful Hookset and 
Precision Hookset by 50%.
These special effects would later be re-used for Cosmic Tools.

Through the winning combination of Grenoldt's expertise, Chora-Zoi's passion, and the Warrior of Darkness's unyielding patience in the face of countless collectibles, the Boutique's adaptive tools have garnered acclaim in every corner of Norvrandt. An artisan's work is never done, however, and Mowen has a mind to reach even greater heights in the name of the realm's prosperity.
As the Boutique's splendorous tools pave a brilliant road for Norvrandt's trades to tread, Grenoldt and Chora-Zoi are keen to continue their pursuit of perfection. Yet the past weighs heavy on Grenoldt's mind, and he means to present Mowen with one final proposal before their project is complete.

Obtaining Splendorous Tools
Upon completing the quest An Original Improvement, players will receive a 
Splendorous Coffer. Using this item transforms it into a tool corresponding to the user's current class.
Subsequent splendorous tools can be obtained from Quinnana in the Crystarium (X:10.4 Y:7.7) for 750 or 
750.

Enhancing Splendorous Tools
Each splendorous tool requires a certain number of items to be delivered to Chora-Zoi in the Crystarium (X:10.5, Y:7.7) before it can be enhanced. The requisite items can be acquired by delivering collectables to Quinnana, also in the Crystarium (X:10.4, Y:7.7). Please note that the requisite items will vary depending on the tool.

Disciples of the Hand
After completing the quest An Original Improvement, new recipes for crafting collectables will be added to the Crafting Log. Splendorous tools must be equipped when crafting with these new recipes. The materials for these recipes can be gathered, bought from Quinnana at the Crystalline Mean in the Crystarium for Purple Crafters' Scrips, or bought from the Market Board.

Macro tips:
If making macros, note that the crafts for this step sometimes have the "Malleable" condition (1.5x to progress gained) - meaning there is a chance that the craft will finish too early and have low collectability. This can be fixed by adding 
Final Appraisal with a wait time of 2 seconds, right before any action that would increase progress - this will prevent said action from finishing the craft. Since Final Appraisal does not consume a step, and it costs only 1 CP to use, it is easy to slot it in as a guardrail without much drawback.
However, make sure that Final Appraisal is NOT active for the final step of the craft, or else durability will likely run out at the last step, and the craft will fail. The buff lasts for 5 steps and is only consumed when progress would've hit 100%, so it can be cast a few steps before the progress-increasing skill it is intended to stop.
If the "Primed" condition is active on the step that Final Appraisal is cast, then the buff will last 7 steps instead. Therefore, for additional safety, try to avoid casting Final Appraisal within the final 7 steps of a craft.
Alternatively, ensure that the progress-increasing actions in your macro are at the end, when quality is already maxed out.
