The rain-starved plains of this region located in central Tural makes for a striking contrast with the verdant surrounds of its largest lake. The discovery of ceruleum deposits in recent years has brought sweeping change to the area, including the construction of a railroad, even as local peoples maintain their cultural traditions.

Shaaloani is a zone in Xak Tural. It is a zone introduced in Dawntrail (7.0), FFXIV's fifth expansion.

Getting there

This zone is unlocked during the level 95 quest The Long Road to Xak Tural. Players may travel here by talking to the Landsguard Sentry at the north exit of Tuliyollal by the Xak Tural Skygate.

Players must be a Disciple of War or Disciple of Magic level 90 or higher to obtain credit for these sightseeing logs. Vistas are small blue glowing orbs at which players need to /lookout or use another emote.
