Trivia

  • During patch 6.0, the grapes (decorative objects) found in Meryall Agronomics were noted by some players for their exceedingly low resolution. In patch 6.01, the polygon count was increased, with the official reason being that the initial low resolution was to conserve memory usage. Despite this, the grapes have become a recurring joke in the playerbase, which has been acknowledged by Square Enix. During the 2023-24 Fan Festivals, a grape "stress ball" was given to attendees. The original grapes were later immortalized in the Labyrinthos grape lamppost icon1.png  Labyrinthos Grape Lamppost furniture item, which explains, in-universe, that the low-resolution grapes were a prototype strain intended to make grapes more easily transportable at the cost of appearing less appetizing.
