7.4 Frontline Map

  • New Frontline map was added: Worqor Chirteh (Triumph)

    • Wolf & Eagle gear series*
      • Replicas of gear awarded for ranked positions in Season 1 and 2 of the Feast, with a different color palette.
      • Past gear will also be updated to feature two dye channels. However, it will look distinct from the replicas, as dye will affect different parts of the gear.
  • Ranking/Tier rewards increased (2>5 commendation crystals for ranks 1-300; 4>7 Ultima, 3>5 Omega, Crystal 2>3)

7.41 During Worqor Chirteh (Triumph) campaigns, triumphs will now appear more frequently near the center of the map. 7.5 The collision for objects players often got stuck on in Worqor Chirteh (Triumph) has been adjusted.

A number of previous PvP Series rewards have been made available for exchange.

7.5 The requirement for certain quests has been changed from "Any Disciple of War or Magic" to "Any Disciple of War or Magic (excluding limited jobs)."

7.5 The "Jeuno (Starlight Celebration)" orchestrion roll that was available during previous Starlight Celebrations is now available for exchange at any time.

A new animation has been added when summoning companions. The summoning animation will change based on the rank of your companion. Companions will now react when you use the Pet or Poke emotes on them. New reactions will be added based on the rank of your companion. A new idle animation has been added to companions. While out of combat, companions will now idle after a set amount of time has elapsed. New idle animations will be added based on the rank of your companion.

Wondrous Tails Wondrous Tails now features a list of applicable duties for each objective. (7.3) Second Chance points are rewarded upon the completion of certain duties. The number of available points is displayed with the duty. (7.5)

The following additions and adjustments have been made to sightseeing logs: When arriving at a vista, the emote required to record the location is now included in the message displayed. Selecting the emote name in the chat log will open the emote list with the corresponding emote already displayed.

For A Realm Reborn and Stormblood sightseeing log entries, a message is now displayed when using the corresponding emote at a vista if the correct weather and time conditions are not fulfilled. A help button has been added to the Sightseeing Log window for easy access to details regarding the feature.

The use of all items can now be queued for execution.

An independent merchant has been added to Rhalgr's Reach (X:12.8 Y:11.1). This NPC will appear after completing the sidequest "None Forgotten, None Forsaken."

The following additions and adjustments have been made when on standby after completing a synthesis: You may now change your class/job. You may now use meals and medicines. You may now move items in your inventory.

  • You will be unable to discard or trade items.

You may now join/leave parties.

  • Please note that you will be unable to join parties via the Party Finder.

You may now operate linkshells. Moving will cancel standby mode.

The following additions and adjustments have been made to custom deliveries: The sound effect that plays when reaching a new satisfaction level has been adjusted. A new help button has been added when speaking to a custom deliveries NPC or accessing their custom deliveries list.

When completing expert delivery missions for your Grand Company, the Storage column will now indicate whether items eligible for submission are located in your Armoury Chest or your inventory.

Duties with daily or weekly rewards will now display a notice in the bottom right corner of the Duty Finder while rewards are unclaimed.

DUTY FINDER CHANGES The following additions and adjustments have been made to the Party Finder: A "Balanced Party" button has been added to the Party Finder screen for 8-player high-end duties. Once pressed, the party formation roles will be set to the following: Tank x2 Pure Healer x1 Barrier Healer x1 Melee DPS x2 Physical Ranged DPS x1 Magical Ranged DPS x1

It is now possible to select more than one purpose when performing an advanced search. To further refine your search, a text filter for the comment section has been implemented.

Areas in which the Character Display Range setting is active have been added.

  • A new route was added: The Thavnair Margin, which is a part of the Ruby Route areas. [[[Patch 7.5#Ocean Fishing|See details]]]
    • Four new fishing logs with 39 new fish were added. (One of these new fish is a minion: Junior Jinbei)
    • Players must complete the main scenario quest Endwalker to access the route.
    • The Ruby Route destination schedule was changed to include this new route.

The card number of the King Elmer III card has been changed from 9999 to 455. 7.5

  • New interior design option "Dark Minimalist Style" was added.

Players can now adjust the number of characters displayed in housing areas via the Display Limits options under Other Settings in the System Configuration Menu. In conjunction with the increase to furnishing placement limits, the number of light sources in houses able to cast shadows from characters and other moving objects has been lowered to reduce system stress. (PlayStation®4 Only)

  • Job, class, and level restrictions on glamour were removed.
  • Due to bespoke animations, weapons and tools can only be equipped by the corresponding class (i.e. two-handed swords can only be glamoured to another two-handed sword)

The confirmation prompt displayed when dispelling glamours now also indicates that dyes and company crests will be removed. 7.3\

A button to filter by your current class or job has been added next to the dropdown filter of shop windows. 7.3

Armoire

The following gear are now able to be stored in the armoire:

  • Class and job-specific gear (Patch 7.5)
    • Certain weapons and tools are not applicable

The following UI changes were made to the armoire:

  • A "Dungeon Gear" tab was added. (Patch 7.5)
  • The "Artifact Armor" tab was renamed to "Class/Job" (Patch 7.5)

7.4

  • Certain class/job-exclusive gear, starting gear, and "fashion gear" (other than Lv 1) will now be treated as outfit glamours.
  • Individual items that are part of an outfit glamour set can now be converted to outfit glamour without requiring a complete set.

7.5

Additional outfit glamours have been added, including Hall of the Novice gear, gear from certain 2.x instanced dungeons, and instanced dungeon gear from Patch 3.0 onward. The "Try On" subcommand has been added to the outfit glamour creation window. Individual pieces of an outfit glamour may now be removed from a set.

System Changes (Patch 7.5)

7.4 Repair all inventory - The option to simultaneously repair all currently equipped items, items stored in the Armoury Chest, and inventory items has been added.

The confirmation prompt when extracting materia has been removed.

The following additions and adjustments have been made to trial synthesis: The following settings can be adjusted when beginning trial synthesis: Starting Quality Condition always normal. The trial synthesis settings window will now reopen once trial synthesis is complete.

You may now choose to synthesize only NQ items when using Quick Synthesis.

Fishers may now change their active bait while mounted.

The visual effects for Precision Hookset and Powerful Hookset will now only be displayed when hooking fish susceptible to each skill.

The time spent immobile after gathering has been reduced.

You may now choose to receive only NQ items when desynthesizing.

Console Visual alerts and color filtering settings can now be adjusted. (PlayStation®4 / PlayStation®5 / Xbox Series X|S)

The following additions and adjustments have been made to gamepad inputs: Using directional buttons to move the cursor now provides a smoother experience. The Command Panel can now be assigned to left thumb-click (L3) and right thumb-click (R3). Configure this setting via the System Configuration menu by selecting Gamepad Settings (Controller Settings) and using the Button Configuration option under Gamepad Customization (Controller Customization). The following options have been added to the System Configuration menu: Gamepad Settings > Gamepad Customization (Controller Customization) > Button Configuration > Begin > Left Thumb-click (L3) / Right Thumb-click (R3)

The following additions have been made to the System Configuration interface (PlayStation®4 / PlayStation®5 / Xbox Series X|S): The Accessibility Settings tab has been added. The Character and Object Quantity pulldown menu has been added to the Other Settings tab.

7.5 To reduce matchmaking load, when registering for multiple duties at once, it will now only be possible to register for duties which require the same number of players (e.g. 4-player/8-player/24-player are categorized separately).

Your current World will now be shown in the World List found in the World Visit window.

The "Organize CWLS" feature has been added to Cross-world Linkshells.

The following options have been added to the System Configuration menu: Other Settings > Display Limits > Characters Displayed in Housing Areas

When traveling to the Oceanian data center from Japanese/North American/European data centers, your character's travel destination will be changed from displaying as "Materia" to "Oceanian Data Center."

Players with only FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn registered to their account will have the registration of FINAL FANTASY XIV: Shadowbringers applied to their account automatically. The level cap has been raised to 80. Players will now have access to the expansion data of Shadowbringers.



Group Pose 7.3 Chromatic aberration has been added. A filter intensity slider has been added. Portrait Mode has been added.

New stickers have been added. Under the Text tab in Sticker Mode, stickers containing character information can now be rotated. The Patch Logo frame has been updated with the Patch 7.3 logo. The following categories have been added to the Group Pose Settings menu: Effect Settings General Settings The following category names in the Group Settings menu have been adjusted: Before After General Settings Camera Settings Effect/Frame Settings Screen Settings

Depth of Field can now be enabled for group pose and the idling camera, even when disabled under Graphics Settings in the System Configuration menu. (Windows® and Mac only)


7.4 New stickers have been added. Up to 200 stickers can now be placed on screen when using sticker mode. The position of light reflections no longer changes when switching to portrait mode or adjusting roll angle. Lighting no longer dims when switching to portrait mode. Portrait mode is now compatible with aspect ratios other than 16:9. (Windows® and Mac only) Activate this feature by checking the "Remove Aspect Ratio Limits" option found under General Settings of Group Pose.

  • Screenshots taken with the "◆: Unaffected by camera settings" option active will still conform to the 16:9 aspect ratio, even when aspect ratio limits are removed.

Copyright information is now displayed in the bottom left of screenshots taken with portrait mode active. (Windows® and Mac only) Screenshots taken with portrait mode active are now saved in portrait format. (Windows® and Mac only) The Patch Logo frame has been updated with a Patch 7.4 logo. 7.5 A Portrait Mode button has been added to the top menu of the Group Pose Settings window. The "Soft Focus" feature has been implemented. Eye Settings have been added. If the chat log has manually been made to display during a group pose, it will now automatically be hidden upon activating Portrait Mode. The Patch Logo frame has been updated with a Patch 7.5 logo.

Configuration Sharing

7.5 The new Configuration Sharing feature allows the player to save a collection of settings of their currently logged in character to the server. The player can download these settings and apply them to another character, or share them with friends. (Patch 7.5)

UI Appearance

  • New UI themes 'Clear White' and 'Clear Green' were added. 7.4
  • New UI themes 'Clear Grey' and 'Clear Pink' were added. (Patch 7.5)

  • New UI element called 'Command Panel' was added.
  • Anything that can be added to a hotbar may be allocated to the Command Panel.
  • Comprised of 4 separate tabs with 25 slots each (100 slots total).
  • Can be assigned to a hotbar or set via keybind.
    • Each page of the Command Panel can be set this way.
  • Interacting with an element in the Command Panel will close the Command Panel.
  • Found in the 'Extra' section of the 'Actions/Traits' Menu.
  • Command Panel can be configured and used with a controller.

  • New system feature called 'Strategy Board' (originally known as 'Whiteboard') was added.
  • Allows Players to display a strategy diagram throughout a duty.
  • Players can share and display the same strategy board within a party, or share via a Share code.
  • Strategy Boards can be made from scratch, made from a preset, received from a party member, or received via a share code.
  • Players can save up to 50 strategies.

7.5 The arc angle parameter for Fan AoE and Donut objects in the Strategy Board has been adjusted from increasing/decreasing in increments of 10 degrees to 5 degrees.

The drop rate for Wings of Mist in Hell on Rails (Extreme) has been increased.

7.3 Toraal Ja has been added to Yak T'el (X:36.0 Y:32.3) and will now teleport players to the entrance of Lower Jeuno. Players must first complete the Chronicles of a New Era quest "Dreams of Paradise" to access this NPC.

7.38 A reward has been added to the shared treasure coffers that appear upon completion of the Royal City of Rabanastre, the Ridorana Lighthouse, and the Orbonne Monastery.

7.5 The weekly restriction on rewards in the Arcadion: Heavyweight Division has been removed. The number of Heavy Holoblades required to exchange for a Universal Tomestone has been reduced from 7 to 4.

Weapons for the following jobs are now available from coffers that appear after completing Omega: Sigmascape (Savage):

Players will no longer be rewarded Cracked Novaclusters upon completing San d'Oria: The Second Walk.

The following adjustments have been made to the Cloud of Darkness (Chaotic): Players may now undertake this duty using the Unrestricted Party option. When completing this duty with Minimum IL enabled, the following items are now guaranteed to appear in the treasure coffer for each party: Shroud of Darkness Dais of Darkness Wisp of Darkness Modern Aesthetics - A Half Times Two

Treasure Hunt Vault Oneiron 7.3

7.31 The following adjustments have been made to the Palace of the Dead: The minimum aetherpool gear strength enhancement from opening silver coffers has been increased from +1 to +5. The success rate of aetherpool gear strength enhancement when opening silver coffers before floor 101 has been increased. Enhancement to aetherpool gear strength when defeating a boss has been increased from +1 to +10.

  • Aetherpool gear strength can only be enhanced up to a certain level before floor 51.

Aetherpool gear strength is now guaranteed to be enhanced upon defeating bosses on every boss floor, and upon completing floor 200. Defeated enemies will now drop sustaining potions.

7.35 Pilgrim's Traverse (Level 91+) added

  • The Final Verse, a separate instance containing the floor 99 boss that serves as a practice mode
  • The Final Verse (Quantum), an additional higher-difficulty light party encounter against the final boss in a separate instance. Difficulty can be scaled based on "offerings" used.

7.4

  • The following changes were made to mitigate save file disqualification from unexpected disconnection:
    • If the player is disconnected when soloing a Deep Dungeon, or if the entire party is disconnected in a group run, players can resume their progress by logging back in within 10 minutes, provided no one has been KO'd.
    • It will count as a wipe if the player or a party member are KO'd in the brief time your character remains online after disconnection, or if all remaining party members disconnect while someone is KO'd.

7.5 The following adjustments have been made to deep dungeons: Party KO count will no longer increase until players reach certain floors. In the Palace of the Dead, party KO count will not increase before reaching floor 100. In Heaven-on-High, Eureka Orthos, and Pilgrim's Traverse, party KO count will not increase before reaching floor 30.

Data saved prior to Patch 7.5 containing KO counts can be amended by speaking to one of the following NPCs: The Palace of the Dead / Wood Wailer Expeditionary Captain / South Shroud (X:25.2 Y:20.6) Heaven-on-High / Kyusei / Ruby Sea (X:21.4 Y:9.2) Eureka Orthos / Khatun / Mor Dhona (X:34.8 Y:19.2) Pilgrim's Traverse / Vanthau / Il Mheg (X:29.9 Y:6.0) Player KO count will no longer be displayed when viewing saved data.

  • Attempting to access save data in which the party was KO'd on additional floors or areas will now display an error message.

Save data that can no longer be accessed will now have a different background color.

Waymarks can now be saved and loaded while undertaking field operations.

Allied Society

7.35 Yok Huy (Lvl 90+ Disciple of Hand) Society quests added.

7.3 The option "Travel to Sinus Ardorum" has been added to the aetheryte in Bestways Burrow. Mounts can now be summoned in Sinus Ardorum. A summoning bell has been placed in Sinus Ardorum at (X:21 Y:21.8). New items are available in exchange for Cosmocredit. The notation indicating difficulty of Class A missions has been adjusted. (A-1,A-2, A-3 to none/EX/EX+ The time allowed for stellar missions has been increased.

  • This change does not apply to EX+ stellar missions, except those that can be accepted by multiple classes.

The sound effects played when starting and completing stellar missions have been changed. When completing a stellar mission, the amount of experience gained for bronze and silver ratings has been increased, such that all rating tiers now grant the same amount of experience. When completing missions that can be accepted by multiple classes, each class will earn points toward their cosmic class score. Players can now confirm the relative distance to the site of stellar missions via the Stellar Missions window. When undertaking stellar missions, the objective and gold star rating requirements will now always be displayed. Items that will be graded for stellar missions will list score prerequisites in their description.

A notification marker indicating the availability of provisional missions will now appear in the Stellar Missions window.

Notifications will now be displayed when sequential missions become available.

The time limit for accepting sequential missions after they appear has been removed. When a red alert has been issued, the time remaining to accept critical missions will be displayed in the Stellar Missions window.

When both Red Alert progress gauges are filled, periodic announcements will indicate that the alert is nearly resolved. The Mission in Progress window will automatically display when reporting is the only remaining step to completing a mission. The Mission Log will now indicate when further exploration is required to trigger a mission. Upon completing gathering stellar missions, you will recover GP equal to the total amount spent during the mission. Upon completing gathering stellar missions, the recast timer of GP recovery items such as cordials will be reset. When stellar missions for botanists and miners are graded based on successive gathering chains or gatherer's boons, the evaluation criteria and scores will now be displayed in the chat log. When stellar missions for fishers are graded based on collectability, Collect must be activated to begin fishing. The time limit for the Mech Ops "Directive: Destroy Corrupted Crystals" and "Directive: Clear Toxic Lunar Spongoi" has been increased from 5 to 10 minutes. The amount by which ground support contributes to the progress gauge during the Mech Ops "Directive: Destroy Corrupted Crystals" and "Directive: Clear Toxic Lunar Spongoi"has been increased. When undertaking the Mech Ops "Directive: Destroy Corrupted Crystals," the special action Carrot Gun will automatically target the nearest target if none is selected. The special action Full Throttle, available in the Mech Ops "Directive: Clear Toxic Lunar Spongoi," no longer has a cast time. The bonus to Stellar Credit rewards granted when participating in Mech Ops as a ground supporter has been increased from +10 to +20. When a project has been completed, and progress advances to the next stage, "Announcement" will be displayed at the top of the screen if no new project is underway. A notification window will now automatically appear if there has been any progress in ongoing projects since your last visit to a cosmic exploration area. The requirements for certain Stellar Successes have been changed.

7.31 Phaenna The Infrastructure Index will now open automatically upon project completion.


7.4 Aethernet shards have been placed in Sinus Ardorum and Phaenna. Attuning with these shards will grant you access to the region's Aethernet.

When performing stellar missions on the same star, a gold count will now be given based on the number of consecutive missions completed with a gold star rank. When undertaking stellar missions, a message will now be displayed if the mission requires expert recipes. An "!" icon will now be displayed above the NPC Alerot when a mech ops directive has been issued. You may now speak with Lefleda on Sinus Ardorum (X:21.8 Y:21.4) to warp to mission sites during red alerts. Additional announcements will now be displayed before and during red alerts. You will now be notified of initiative progress upon arrival in a cosmic exploration area.

7.3 When entering with an alliance of 24 members or more, you will always enter a new instance.

  • This newly created instance will be considered "occupied," preventing entry by players that are not part of the alliance.
  • If an alliance meets the entry requirements for the Forked Tower, the Auroral Mirage weather effect will begin five minutes after entering the Occult Crescent. Once the alliance completes entry into the tower, or ten minutes have passed, the weather will clear and the instance will no longer be considered occupied.
  • If an alliance fails to meet the entry requirements for the Forked Tower, the instance will no longer be considered occupied five minutes after entering the Occult Crescent.

The minimum number of players that must offer Sanguine Ciphers to enter the Forked Tower: Blood has been increased from 16 to 24 players. The window displayed when using Sanguine Ciphers has been updated to show detailed information on the number of players who have secured entry and those yet seeking entry. Only players who have used a Sanguine Cipher will now be eligible for selection to enter the Forked Tower: Blood. While a critical encounter is in progress, the appearance of the Auroral Mirage weather effect will be put on hold.

  • If its occurrence has been deferred, it will begin immediately after the encounter has ended.

During the critical encounter Calamity Bound, the Seal Asunder mechanic will function differently with a lower number of participants. The items obtained from treasure coffers revealed by persistent pots and happy bunnies have been changed.

7.5 The Phantom Cannoneer support job action Shock Cannon has been changed from lightning-aspected to unaspected damage.

    • In accordance with this change, the icon and effects of this action have been adjusted.

The Phantom Knight action Pledge now nullifies certain detrimental effects of enemy attacks in addition to the damage that would be inflicted by those attacks. When undertaking critical encounters, enemy auto-attack potency has been reduced. The conditions for determining the HP of enemies that appear in FATEs have been adjusted. Previously, when engaging enemies in a FATE, only the number of players within its bounds was factored into enemy HP. Moving forward, all players within the FATE, as well as those within 180 yalms of it, will be factored into enemy HP. However, players undertaking a critical encounter will not be counted. The amount of knowledge points, phantom EXP, and Enlightenment silver pieces earned from FATEs has been increased. Rewards for completing Occult Crescent field operation entries in the Challenge Log have been increased.

Misc

7.3 Chat bubbles have been implemented, allowing messages to be displayed above characters' heads. Chat bubble settings, including options to adjust text and background color can be found under the General tab of Log Window settings in the Character Configuration menu.

Bangs will now be displayed when wearing headgear such as hoods, which previously hid them.

Certain headgear items now allow Viera to toggle the display of their ears.

7.3 The following adjustments have been made to the Jog status effect: Jog will now be removed when participating in the following activities: The Slice Is Right Crystalline Conflict Jog will now be removed upon gaining the Transporting status effect. Previously, while the effect of Jog was not active during Transporting, its status icon would still display. This has been addressed, and the icon will now also be removed as intended. When inside a deep dungeon, Jog will now be removed when afflicted with the Sprint Penalty status effect.

A Glamours button has been added to the window displayed when examining player equipment.

The following additions and adjustments have been made to the Reputation tab of the Character window: The number of remaining allowances for allied society daily quests is now displayed. Clicking on a listed allied society with the mouse, or selecting it with a gamepad, will now open the map to their settlement's location.

The following adjustments have been made to the Blacklist: While measures were implemented in Patch 7.2 to make it more difficult to confirm or reference portions of character IDs not normally visible during gameplay, further adjustments have been made in Patch 7.3. As a result, certain locally stored client data will be reset.

You can now adjust the transparency of the chat prompt. This setting can be found under Log Window Settings in the Character Configuration menu.

An "Automatic" option has been added to the Character and Object Quantity setting under Display Limits. All players’ settings will be uniformly switched to "Automatic" upon the release of Patch 7.3. Moreover, "Automatic" will be the new default for the feature.

On Windows® and Mac, this setting can be adjusted under Other Settings in the System Configuration Menu.
