— In-game description
Tank Training - Exercise 6: Execute a Ranged Attack to Increase Enmity is a level 15 Hall of the Novice exercise introduced in patch 3.2 with Heavensward.
General Information
- This exercise cannot be done without the completion of the level 15 class quest. You will not be able to queue for it if you do not have the ranged attack unlocked.
- This training exercise is the sixth in a series of eight for the tank role in Hall of the Novice, which becomes available when you unlock dungeons.
- Execute a Ranged Attack to Increase Enmity is exclusive to the tank role training exercises, unlike the first and final exercise of Hall of the Novice.
- This training exercise is designed to introduce a scenario in which the ranged attack would be useful. There will be six live targets, three sets of two monsters each, the goal being to break off two at a time until all are defeated. An ally will be standing nearby who will heal you to full health each time you defeat an enemy.
- Although the game strongly suggests you only fight a few of the enemies at a time, you will not fail the exercise if you pull all of them at once, and you will successfully complete the duty as long as you defeat all the enemies without being KO'd.
- A recommendation on how to handle this would be to angle the attack from the outside in.
