Cloudkin

Cloudkin is a class of creature within the bloodborn kingdom and one of eight classes of beasts tamable by beastmaster, encompassing many winged or flying creatures.

Clearing a board with only cloudkin will reward the Cloudkin Gambit bonus (750 points). If a player receives this bonus on the Second Master's Board, they will earn the Cloudkin Mate achievement.

Lore

The one feature shared by all cloudkin is the capacity for flight, be it wing-, aether-, or gas-assisted. There do exist several rare species that, for one reason or another in their long line of evolution, have forsaken the skies and instead taken to lives upon land or even in the sea. The apkallu is one such example.

Cloudkin are winged creatures all, but those wings do not necessarily bear them across the skies. Many have been bound to the land by the vagaries of evolution, and more bred for their feathers and meat.
