These immense tortoises native to Thavnair found their way to Eorzea near the end of the Sixth Astral Era—a shipment of dodo eggs intended for feast days had some unintentional additions. The scalekin that were spared consumption hatched and proliferated, their eggs now considered a rare delicacy.
