Custom Deliveries
Custom Deliveries are NPCs that accept turn-ins of specific collectables and reward players with 
gil, 
EXP and 
Scrips.
Clients will come to trust you more and more as you complete deliveries and increase their satisfaction level. Upon reaching a new satisfaction level, you will have the opportunity to learn more about them and earn greater rewards from deliveries.
Custom Deliveries were first introduced with Zhloe Aliapoh in patch 3.55a. A new custom delivery NPC is usually added every major odd-numbered patch, making three new NPCs per expansion starting from Stormblood.
Requirements
Players can unlock Collectables as a system by completing the level 50 quest 
Inscrutable Tastes. Players start the quest by talking to Morgayne in Foundation (X:10.1 Y:10.4). It requires the prior completion of the level 50 Heavensward MSQ 
The Better Half.
Additionally, further levels of the Scrip Exchange are unlocked in each expansion. Beginning with Stormblood's Reach Long and Prosper, these quests are single conversations without Journal entries. Once an expansion's inventory is unlocked, it becomes available at all Scrip Exchange NPCs:
Custom Deliveries clients require that you first unlock an expansion's inventory with one of the above quests, but they are optional for unlocking later expansion's Scrip Exchange NPCs.

Confirming items sought for delivery
To view the list of deliveries requested by each NPC, go to Duty > Timers > Custom Deliveries. Click on each NPC's name to view their requests.
If an NPC's satisfaction has already been maxed, there is a chance each week that they will provide a bonus reward for a certain type of delivery (Disciples of the Hand, Disciples of the Land, or Fishing) as indicated by an icon in the Client List:
- Right-click on an NPC name in the client list and click "Show on Map" to see the NPC's location.
- Each player is limited to a total of 12 delivery allowances per week, and no more than 6 deliveries per NPC per week. The client list displays the remaining allowances, and each NPC's delivery list displays the "Deliveries Remaining" for that NPC. Eligibility for deliveries will be reset every Tuesday at 12:00 a.m. (PST).
Preparing items for delivery
The items sought by clients fall into three categories: crafted items, botanist and miner gathered items, and fish. Players may progress custom deliveries by turning in any of these item types and can also "mix-and-match".
Crafted Items
Recipes for items needed for Custom Deliveries can be viewed in the "Custom Deliveries" category in the Crafting Log. Each client NPC has five of these items subject to requests for delivery. The materials required to craft the items can be purchased from a vendor located nearby the client NPC.
- Recipes can be confirmed while viewing the Custom Deliveries list by selecting the requested item and accessing the subcommand menu.
Gathered Items
Each client has five types of gathered items subject to requests for delivery. These can be viewed in the Gathering Log.

Fish
Each client has five types of fish subject to requests for delivery. These can be viewed in the Fishing Log. These items must be caught with 
Collect active or they cannot be turned in.
- The locations of these fish can be confirmed while viewing the Custom Deliveries list by selecting the requested item and viewing its item description.
Completing deliveries
Completing deliveries will give the player Purple Crafters' Scrips or Purple Gatherers' Scrips along with Experience and a small amount of Gil.
- If the class used for the delivery is at the level cap, no Experience is rewarded, but the player will receive Orange Crafters' Scrips or Orange Gatherers' Scrips.
- The most-recently-added NPC will give more Orange Crafters' Scrips or Orange Gatherers' Scrips than older NPCs.
To deliver items, players need to be a Disciple of the Hand or Land at level 55+. The client's satisfaction level will also increase.
- Items with a higher collectability will earn greater gil and scrip rewards.
- The satisfaction gain is fixed, as long as the item meets the minimum collectability requirement.
- EXP gain scales according to the player's current level, but it does not increase with higher collectability.
The rewards given vary by the NPC's satisfaction level at the time of the delivery.

Raising satisfaction levels
With each successful delivery, clients will come to trust you more, leading to assignments of greater importance. Satisfaction levels are displayed as a gauge atop the Custom Deliveries list. When the gauge is filled to the maximum, the client's satisfaction level will increase. Players will receive rewards upon increasing in satisfaction level, and have the opportunity to learn more about their clients. Upon reaching the next rank, the "story" for that Custom Delivery NPC is advanced, with a cutscene and potentially a quest serving to further that story before the next rank's deliveries are unlocked.
All Custom Delivery NPCs use the same satisfaction scaling, with it taking 3 deliveries to reach rank 2, and 6 deliveries each to reach ranks 3 through 5. As such, each Custom Delivery NPC requires a minimum of 4 weeks to reach Level 5 satisfaction, due to the limit of 6 deliveries per NPC per week. Note that the shared 12 deliveries per week cap amongst all Custom Deliveries means one cannot simultaneously rank up with all of the available NPCs. At most, one can rank up with two NPCs simultaneously without increasing the time to reach rank 5 with each.

*Upon reaching maximum satisfaction level (5) with most Custom Delivery NPCs, the player will be able to apply glamour to them. The player must have glamours unlocked to acquire this ability. Glamour-eligible NPCs are indicated by the shirt icon next to their satisfaction hearts. 
Glamour Prisms are required as catalysts for the glamouring process. Items used to cast glamours will be bound to you, and can no longer be traded or sold on the market. Items you wish to glamour must be in your inventory, not your dresser.
