Rewards
Completing deliveries will give the player
Purple Crafters' Scrips or
Purple Gatherers' Scrips along with
Experience and a small amount of
Gil.
- If the class used for the delivery is at the level cap, the player will receive
Orange Crafters' Scrips or
Orange Gatherers' Scrips instead of Experience. - The most-recently-added NPC will give about 15% more Orange Crafters' Scrips or Orange Gatherers' Scrips than older NPCs.
To deliver items, players need to be a Disciple of the Hand or Land at level 55+. The client's satisfaction level will also increase.
- Items with a higher collectability will earn greater gil and scrip rewards.
- The satisfaction gain is fixed, as long as the item meets the minimum collectability requirement.
- EXP gain scales according to the player's current level, but it does not increase with higher collectability.
The rewards given vary by the NPC's satisfaction level at the time of the delivery.
(Note: Orange scrip yields changed as of Patch 7.51. It seems that old NPCs' yields were raised to the new NPC yield, and the actual newest NPC (Tiisol Ja) has an even higher yield than that. Estimated but unconfirmed data is marked with asterisks.)

Achievements
Custom deliveries for this NPC are associated with the following achievements:
Dialogue
Satisfaction Level 1
Welcome, Forename! Here to help me do Menphina's work, I take it? Let's see how many smiles we can put on the children's faces today!
If the player delivers Near Eastern Antique
With Ishgardians taking a greater and greater interest in foreign nations of late, trinkets and treasures from the Near East are in great demand. This is just what they're looking for!
If the player delivers Dated Radz-at-Han Coin
This is a form of ancient currency once minted in Radz-at-Han, said to be a remnant of ancient trade routes long since abandoned. It's sure to strike the fancy of any connoisseur of Near Eastern history.
If the player delivers Thavnairian Leaf
Isn't this one so beautiful? It's said they were originally bred by the Sharlayans for research purposes, then released into the sea─by accident or design, none can say. I must say, it looks quite tasty as well!
On Satisfaction Level 1 Completion
Thanks to you, I've got so many Near Eastern treasures that I barely have space for them all! Fortunately, Zhloe knows some very wealthy individuals who can hardly wait to take them off her hands. Tee hee!
Start of cutscene.I'm happy to say that your Near Eastern treasures have found no end of fans among the Ishgardian aristocracy!"
Why, with only the funds that have poured in thus far, I can safely say that Menphina's Arms will stay welcomingly wide open for...well, at least the next couple of days or so!"
But is Zhloe going to rest on her laurels? Perish the thought! Not when there are countless children still yearning for warmth and love! I can count on you...can't I, Forename?"
Oh, thank you! This calls for a celebration! Why, yes, I think I'll treat myself to that last bite of pineapple pudding I've been saving since last week!"
If anyone deserves it, it's you, Miss Zhloe! You're always working so hard to put food on our plates."
Hello, lady/sir. Who are you?"
This is Forename, a famous adventurer. She’s/He’s the one who's helping Miss Zhloe turn her trading business around!"
You're an adventurer, Miss/Mister Forename? My mummy and daddy are adventurers, too! I wish you could meet them..."
Mummy and Daddy are the strongest adventurers I've ever seen! They're always keeping the people of Idyllshire safe from nasty monsters...or at least they were."
The other day, they went off to hunt something called a “leet mark.” They said they'd be home by sundown, but I haven't seen them since. Miss Zhloe says they probably just got lost. Anyway, I was so scared and lonely all by myself...but then I met Miss Zhloe!"
She's been so nice to me, just like a big sister! Sometimes she forgets to unlock the door, or feed us, but I know that's just because she's busy. Right, Miss Zhloe? I just met you, Miss/Mister Forename, but I like you, too!"
Anyway, I'm going to go now. My best friend promised she'd tell me a story about dragons, and I just love dragons! See you later, Miss Zhloe, Miss/Mister Forename."
That's T'kebbe. Just between the two of us, search parties have been scouring the land for any sign of her parents, but...nothing. I know I shouldn't get the poor girl's hopes up, but I simply haven't the heart to tell her the truth. Besides, Menphina may still work a miracle yet..."
The day after her parents disappeared, poor little T'kebbe rushed out from her home to the city gates. She waited there day and night, in the beating rain and blustery wind, just so she could greet her dear mother and father with a smile the very moment they returned home."
When I found her, she was sniffling and shivering in the cold...and that was when my inspiration struck. I would start an orphanage, right here in Idyllshire, and take in all the poor children like T'kebbe who were crying out for a gentle helping hand."
And that's why I must keep to the task! Menphina's Arms must spread wider and wider, that no child need know such pain and loneliness ever again! <rumble> <rumble> Is it supper time yet?"
Zhloe is pleased with your efforts. She now considers you a Friend to the Orphanage!
And yet there is still much work to be done before the finances of Menphina's Arms are stable. To that end, Zhloe Aliapoh has a new favor to ask of you...
Thanks to you, we're doing better than we were─at least Zhloe's paying the rent, now!─but I'm afraid to say Menphina's Arms is still a long way from achieving true financial stability.
So Zhloe got to thinking: perhaps we've been doing ourselves a disservice by limiting our dealings to the Ishgardian nobility─no matter how wealthy and generous they might be.
That's why Zhloe's decided to look the realm over, and look big! I'm talking about consortiums, cooperatives, and...conspiracies? Commiserations? That doesn't sound right... Anyway! What I'm trying to say is, I've found a promising new client: Master Gegeruju of Gegeruju Shipping!
Have you been to his resort at Costa del Sol, Forename? They say the sun shines bright on waters clear, every day of every year! Tee hee! That rhymed, didn't it?
Anyway, I had an idea! What sort of rare trinkets and treasures do you think might tickle the fancy of those who live in a world of endless summer?
If you're thinking “cool and refreshing relics from the bleak, blustery highlands of Coerthas,” then I guess great minds think alike! Yes, this is the perfect opportunity to build upon the foundation we've laid! What do you say, Forename? Are you with me?
End of cutscene.
Satisfaction Level 2
Welcome back, Forename! I'm happy to say that the children are smiling more and more with each passing day!
If the player delivers Coerthan Souvenir
The Coerthas highlands are home to all sorts of treasures of cool, austere beauty. The wealthy patrons of Costa del Sol are sure to pay a good price for something this exotic and enticing!
If the player delivers Ice Stalagmite
Ice stalagmites, formed by the dripping of pure cavern waters over long periods of time, are known for their crystal-clear purity. Speaking of which, what's the difference between a stalagmite and a stalactite again? Either way, this is sure to fetch a good price!
If the player delivers Ghost Faerie
So elegant and limpid, you'd think it was fashioned from solid ice. This is sure to fetch a princely sum from Master Gegeruju!
On Satisfaction Level 2 Completion
Thanks to your hard work, Zhloe's practically swimming in souvenirs from the highlands! Why, I can just see the smile on Master Gegeruju's face...and the gil flowing freely from his coffers. Tee hee!
Start of cutscene. The souvenirs you brought back from Coerthas have been selling like...er, something that sells a whole lot! Master Gegeruju and his friends at Costa del Sol say that just gazing at them is as refreshing as a cool breeze on a hot summer's day!"
Why, the gil's been pouring in day and night, left and right! But that's not all! Now that our finances are under control, I can finally buy the books and writing implements I've had my eyes on for so long!
After all, Zhloe can't very well watch over them forever, can she now? I must help them cultivate their minds, that one day they can strike out and earn their keep on their own. Zhloe was never cut out to be more than a humble merchant, but their future is just full of possibilities. I can't let them down!
And to think that not long ago, I was worried that I wouldn't be able to pay next month's rent. Just look at how far we've come! And it's all thanks to you, Forename! Zhloe thanks you from the very bottom of her heart!
Today, I think I'll treat myself to a fresh bowl of pineapple pudding! Freshly made three days ago, that is─have to make it last, you know. Anyhow, I know you're doing the hard work, but even I deserve that much, wouldn't you say?
Oh, thank you! The last bowl I had was left over from last month's batch, and it was somewhat lacking in the smoothness one generally associates with pudding. Why, I almost thought I'd crack a tooth!
Not that I actually cracked one, of course. See for yourself─Zhloe's smile is as cute as ever! That one tooth that's slightly out of place only adds to the charm! At least, that's what Rowena always told me. Don't you think so, too?
Oh, you're really too sweet! I'll let you in on a secret. From leftover pudding to stale flatbread─no matter how hard a piece of food gets, you can always soften it up by soaking it in hot water!
Of course, it doesn't taste as good then, but at least it's easy on the jaw. And we all have to make sacrifices, right? At least, that's what I tell the children when all I have for their supper is day-old porridge.
Zhloe Aliapoh is delighted with your efforts. She now considers you a Patron of the Orphanage!
And yet there is still much work to be done before the finances of Menphina's Arms are stable. To that end, Zhloe Aliapoh has a new favor to ask of you...
Oh, but how far Menphina's Arms has come! From “teetering on the brink of bankruptcy” to “clinging oh-so-desperately to life,” we now find ourselves this close to achieving our dream of actual stability! And it's all thanks to you! And me. And our clients, of course. And the children, too! What were we talking about, again?
Oh, that's right! Zhloe's set her sights higher and higher in search of her biggest client yet! You'll never guess who it is!
I'll give you a hint: what begins with a “mmm” sound and rhymes with “aelstrom?” Give up? I'll tell you: the Maelstrom!
A kind regular here at the Hard Place told me that the Admiral's planning to hold a massive war game of sorts. Doesn't that sound fun? And kind of scary. But fun! Anyhow, the word is they're looking for all the equipment they can get their hands on! Cannons, cannonballs...er, more cannons? I have the list around here somewhere...
Anyhow, I'm sure you can see where this is going. If you could procure for me a healthy stock of top-of-the-line naval materiel, I can guarantee you we'll be positively swimming in gil! But hopefully not drowning. Did Zhloe mention that she can't swim?"
But where were we? Oh, of course! I've written up a brand-new register of items for you to procure. You'll take a look, won't you? Remember, it's not just Zhloe who's counting on you─we must think of the children!
End of cutscene.
Satisfaction Level 3
Oh, it's Forename! Zhloe's on the verge of making the biggest deal of her life! I will succeed. I must! For the children!
If the player delivers Maelstrom Materiel
Weaponry, alchemical potations, rations...the Admiral needs all the supplies she can get, and this should serve quite nicely!
If the player delivers Duskfall Moss
This moss is an indispensable ingredient in the brewing of dusken draught, which, as we all know, is itself indispensable in...actually, I'm not quite sure. What I am sure about is that the Maelstrom's supplier is willing to pay a premium for it!
If the player delivers Red Sky Coral
Another key ingredient of dusken draught, red coral is said to be in short supply around La Noscea of late. Fortunately for us, there's plenty to be found high in the skies!
On Satisfaction Level 3 Completion
Zhloe is ever, ever so grateful to you, Forename! Thanks to you, the Maelstrom will have enough materiel to wage a thousand wars! I can just hear the sound of the cannons a-firing and hulls a-cracking! Did I mention that I wanted to be a pirate when I was small?
Start of cutscene.Forename! Oh, Forename! You'll be happy to know that Zhloe's instincts were right on the mark once more!
My contact in Limsa tells me that the materiel you collected for the Maelstrom was─and I quote─“a bloody godssend.” Those were the Admiral's own words! Can you believe it? Zhloe still can't believe it! Every piece has been sold off, and at prices that have our coffers overflowing like never before!
Now I can finally provide the children with the life they deserve. One square meal a day to accompany their usual porridge! Blankets and bedding free of mold and moth holes! Shoes with...<gasp>...actual soles!
And finally─finally!─Zhloe can treat herself to a fresh bowl of pineapple pudding every other day!
What will you say?
Not every day?
Perish the thought, Forename! How could I even think of treating myself to such luxuries when there are children starving in the streets as we speak!? Menphina would never forgive me!
What will you eat the other day?
Why...nothing, of course. But don't worry! I just close my eyes, savor the smells wafting in from Adkiragh's kitchen, and chomp my teeth together. If I try really hard, I can almost convince myself that I'm dining on a full-course meal!
Zhloe Aliapoh is overjoyed with your efforts. She now considers you a Savior of the Orphanage!
And yet there is still much work to be done before the finances of Menphina's Arms are stable. To that end, Zhloe Aliapoh has a new favor to ask of you...
To think Zhloe would live to see the day when Menphina's Arms was finally free of debt! Not that I thought I'd actually die, of course. At least, not for a while. I mean, we're all going to die one day, right?"
Oh, dear! That conversation took a depressing turn. What I meant to say is, thank you oh so much for all you've done! Thanks to you, Forename, business is thriving, and Zhloe can finally keep Menphina's Arms running on her own!"
Oh, T'kebbe! What brings you out here? Is something the matter? Oh, no! Did Zhloe forget your breakfast/lunch/supper again?"
<sniffle> N-No, Miss Zhloe. It's...<sniffle>...it's my friend. I told her my nameday was coming, and...she started crying. She said...<sniffle>...she doesn't know when her nameday is. Then I started crying, too."
When I first came to Menphina's Arms, I cried in my bed every night. I tried to smile in front of you, Miss Zhloe, but...but...but deep down, I knew that Mummy and Daddy were never coming back."
But Miss Zhloe was so nice to me, and...and...Khloe would always cheer me up with stories about dragons, and...<sniffle>...before I knew it, I wasn't crying anymore."
And so...so...I want to do for her what Khloe and Miss Zhloe did for me. But what can I do, Miss Zhloe? If only I could give her my nameday, I would, but..."
Yes, if only...wait! T'kebbe, you're a genius! Don't you see? We'll just declare your nameday the day of all your friends who don't have a nameday of their own! We can all celebrate together, and none of you will have to feel alone! That's such a great idea, I wish I'd thought of it! Or wait...did I?"
Oh, Miss Zhloe! Can we really? It would make her so, so happy!"
Of course we can! But we're going to need presents! And not just any presents! Presents so delightful that these poor boys and girls will be able to forget...<sniffle>...if only for a day...<sniffle>...all the pain and...<sniffle>...suffering they've endured in their... I'm sorry, I seem to have something in my...<sniffle>...eye..."
Get yourself together, Zhloe! Standing around here sniffling isn't going to get anything done! Well now, Forename, I think you know what we have to do. Are you ready to get collecting?"
End of cutscene.
Satisfaction Level 4
Oh, Forename! Thanks to you, the children are as happy as Zhloe's ever seen them! If only you could see their beaming faces!
If the player delivers Heartfelt Gift
A present for the children? How kind of you! The mere sight of the box is sure to fill their hearts with joy and wonder. Why, I suppose it will have the same effect on me!
If the player delivers Glass Eye
If it's one thing the children love, it's playing with these little glass balls! When I was struggling to put food on their plates, sometimes they would try to swallow them─that wasn't good. But I'm certain that's a thing of the past now!
If the player delivers Lovers' Clam
T'kebbe and her friends love these little beauties. By putting two of them together, look─you can even make a little heart!
On Satisfaction Level 4 Completion
Oh, Forename, how can Zhloe ever thank you? So many gifts, and every last one of them straight from the heart! The children will know joy and happiness beyond their wildest dreams!
Start of cutscene.Miss/Mister Forename! Miss Zhloe! Thank you so, so, so much for the presents! This is my best nameday since the time Mummy and Daddy got me a wind-up moogle!
My best friend was so happy, too! She said it's the second happiest day of her life, after the day she saw a real, live dragon! Did I tell you how much I love dragons?
You certainly did, T'kebbe! And guess what? Zhloe loves dragons, too! But I'm glad your nameday was a happy one. Just wait and see what I have planned for you next year!
Hi Zhloe! I just came to say hi─which I guess I just did! Are you working hard? Khloe's working hard, too!
Oh, Forename! What are you─wait, I know! You're working with Zhloe! Zhloe told me she had a new partner, but I didn't know it was you! Until now, I mean!
Who's this nice-looking woman/man? Is she/he the one helping you with your business? Khloe wishes she had an adventurer helping her, too!
She/He sure is! Forename here has been a godssend─ever since she/he showed up, the gil's been flowing in virtually nonstop!
That's wonderful, Zhloe! Oh, oh...! Khloe almost forgot! T'kebbe, guess what? Khloe has a new story for you! I think it might be my best ever! You want to hear it, don't you?
Yay! I sure do! Does it have dragons in it? Please say it does!
Anyway, we'll be going now. See you around, Miss/Mister Forename! And I know you're really, really busy, Miss Zhloe...but please try not to forget our supper tonight, okay?
So you're one of the adventurers who's been sharing your tales with my little sister. No wonder her stories have been so exciting of late!
That was my little sister, Khloe. She just loves telling stories!
She's still just a child, but no matter how hard things get, that smile never leaves her face. Even though I know she's lonely, what with her sister always working.
Now that we're turning a profit and Menphina's Arms is going strong, I can finally spend more time with her. I'm sure she can't wait to tell me her latest stories, and I can't wait to hear them!
But that doesn't mean Zhloe's closing up shop─not for a second! We may be better off than ever before, but there's always more to be done─for the children, of course. You'll still lend me a helping hand from time to time, won't you?
Oh, thank you ever so much, Forename! Wherever would Zhloe be if it weren't for you? Probably out on the streets, shivering, with nary a bowl of pineapple pudding to be had! Mmm, pineapples...
Zhloe Aliapoh could not be happier with your efforts. She now considers you a Part of the Family!
Through your efforts, the finances of Menphina's Arms are now stable. It seems, however, that Zhloe has a different sort of favor to ask of you...
...Ahem! And with that, I would like to announce our latest client. But before I do, I must warn you─she's quite a demanding one!"
Our latest client is none other than...me! Tee hee! Weren't expecting that, were you, Forename? Why, I think I even surprised myself!"
Thanks to all you've done, Menphina's Arms have spread wider than I ever dreamed! But there are just a few more things I need to truly make my orphanage all I've ever dreamed. I can count on you, can't I?"
End of cutscene.
Future requests will be selected at random from all those you have seen thus far, with the list refreshed once a week (Earth time).
You may review the items currently in demand at any time by speaking with Zhloe and selecting Make a delivery.
Note that orphanage donations, rainbow pigment, and river shrimp will earn you particularly handsome rewards. Whenever they make an appearance, the effort to procure them will be worth your while.
Furthermore, Zhloe Aliapoh's appearance may now be altered through the use of glamours.
Satisfaction Level 5
Welcome home, Forename! I know this isn't really your home, but we've been working together so much lately, you feel like family!
If the player delivers Orphanage Donation
More supplies for the orphanage? Zhloe can't thank you enough. Anything you can offer for us is truly, deeply appreciated─by me and the children both!
If the player delivers Rainbow Pigment
With these seven striking colors, the children will be able to paint anything their little hearts desire! Wouldn't it be sweet if one of them decided to paint a portrait of you or me?
If the player delivers River Shrimp
Fried river shrimp are the children's favorite supper treat! Raw, boiled and buttered...but especially fried! I'm quite partial to them myself─it's all I can do to keep myself from eating their share!
Item Quality
If the collectability rating is low
Now, let's take a closer look! Oh, well...this is certainly, um, nice. Yes, I'm sure that someone...somewhere...would take a liking to this. Sometimes, it's the imperfections that give something extra charm. Like how Zhloe's one crooked tooth makes her that much cuter, you know? Just like that!
If the collectability rating is mid-range
Now, let's take a closer look... Why, this is lovely! My customers will be overjoyed to see something so beautiful! I can't thank you enough, Forename!
If the collectability rating is high
Now, let's take a closer look... Oh, Forename, it's absolutely stunning! So stunning that it's a shame I have to sell it! But I will make the ultimate sacrifice─for the children!
If the player delivers Heartfelt Gift and the collectability rating is high
Let's take a look, now... A present for the children? How terribly thoughtful of you! Thanks to you, this will be one of the happiest days of their lives. I'm sure of it!
If the player delivers Orphanage Donation and the collectability rating is high
Let's see what we have here... More supplies for the orphanage? Oh, thank you ever so much, Forename! Zhloe promises she'll put it to good use!
Upon reaching weekly limit
Satisfaction Level 1
Start of cutscene. Why, Forename! You've been working your tail off this week, haven't you? Speaking of tails, I really wish the orphan boys would stop pulling mine. Don't they realize how much that hurts?
Anyway, I think you've earned yourself a much-needed rest. Don't go too far, though─Zhloe's counting on you to help keep Menphina's Arms going strong!
End of cutscene.
Satisfaction Level 2
Start of cutscene.Working as hard as ever, I see! Wherever would Zhloe be without you? Out on the street eating stale flatbread and month-old pineapple pudding, that's where!
Still, don't forget to give yourself a rest from time to time! Can I interest you in a bowl of pineapple pudding? <sniff> <sniff> I don't think it's rotten yet.
End of cutscene.
Satisfaction Level 3
Start of cutscene.Phew! We outdid ourselves this week, didn't we, Forename?
I can't wait to get back to Menphina's Arms and take a nice, long bath. Oh! And I mustn't forget the children's mealtime. Got that, Zhloe? Don't forget to feed the children... Don't forget to feed the children...
Oh dear! Was I talking to myself again? Sorry about that. You take care of yourself, too! And don't forget to feed your children...er, if you have children. You don't have children, do you?
End of cutscene.
Satisfaction Level 4
Start of cutscene.Perfect! This should make a lovely addition to Zhloe's inventory.
I must say, Forename. I've never seen treasures quite so exquisite as those you've procured for me. Why, you might be the most crafter, gatherer, and fisherer that I've met since...well, ever! Wait, did I just say “fisherer?” That's not a word...is it?
Compared to that, my own skills as a trader leave something to be desired. But is Zhloe going to give up? Not on your life! The children are depending on me! Wait...did I forget to feed them breakfast/lunch/supper again?
End of cutscene.
Satisfaction Level 5
Start of cutscene.Thank you for another batch of lovely treasures, Forename!
It's strange. Even though I'm doing the selling and you're doing the crafting, gathering, and, uh, fisherering, I feel like I've learned so much from you!
But there's still so, so much more to learn if I want to be half the trader that Rowena is. That's why I'm so happy that you've promised to keep helping me!
Wait, that wasn't just me talking to myself, right? This may come as a surprise, but I have a tendency to do that from time to time. You did promise, didn't you, Forename?
What will you say?
But of course!
Oh, thank you, Forename! You're such a wonderful role model for me. I'll be watching you closer than ever to see just how I should carry and conduct myself!
Wait! Don't move yet! I'm watching...watching...watching...still watching! Okay, that should do for now. Carry on!
Actually, about that…
Wh-What!? Y-You're quitting? But why!? Could it be that Zhloe isn't as charming as she thought she was? Impossible! But how, then, to explain your completely inexplicable reaction?
...But of course! You must be joking with me! Tee hee! That's the best joke I heard since Adkiragh told me I talk funny. How sweet you all are, always doing whatever you can to keep Zhloe's spirits high!
End of cutscene.

Start of cutscene.Thank you oh so much, Forename. Just when I thought you'd done it all, you still manage to amaze me!
But to be honest, sometimes I worry. You've done so much for Zhloe, but what has Zhloe really done for you? I like working with you, but I wouldn't want you to waste your time unless you like working with me, too.
You can be honest with Zhloe. She's strong. She can take it. Has our little partnership been as fun and fruitful for you as it has for me?
Oh, Forename! You have no idea how happy that makes me! I feel like I could soar high into the heavens on the wings of your words!
Why, I'm so happy I just might treat myself to a fresh bowl of pineapple pudding! Even better, a fresh pineapple! With the skin, leaves, and all!
What will you say?
I don't think that's a good idea…
Heavens, what am I saying!? Forgive me, Forename. Your gesture of admiration so moved me that I got ahead of myself for a moment there. It may surprise you to hear this, but I have a tendency to do that from time to time.
Um...enjoy?
That's strange. You don't look particularly surprised. Anyhow, I look forward to a long and fruitful partnership for many moons to come!
End of cutscene.
