About
Kurenai has a dream. And to realize that dream, she needs custom deliveries. As a Disciple of the Hand or Land, you may contribute to her ambition to bring change to Sui-no-Sato. And who knows? If you do enough for her cause, she might even let you dress her up...

Upon reaching maximum satisfaction level, the player is able to glamour Kurenai's outfit.
Rewards
Completing deliveries will give the player 
Purple Crafters' Scrips or 
Purple Gatherers' Scrips along with 
Experience and a small amount of 
Gil.
- If the class used for the delivery is at the level cap, the player will receive
Orange Crafters' Scrips or 
Orange Gatherers' Scrips instead of Experience. - The most-recently-added NPC will give about 15% more Orange Crafters' Scrips or Orange Gatherers' Scrips than older NPCs.
To deliver items, players need to be a Disciple of the Hand or Land at level 62. The client's satisfaction level will also increase.
- Items with a higher collectability will earn greater gil and scrip rewards.
- The satisfaction gain is fixed, as long as the item meets the minimum collectability requirement.
- EXP gain scales according to the player's current level, but it does not increase with higher collectability.
The rewards given vary by the NPC's satisfaction level at the time of the delivery.
(Note: Orange scrip yields changed as of Patch 7.51. It seems that old NPCs' yields were raised to the new NPC yield, and the actual newest NPC (Tiisol Ja) has an even higher yield than that. Estimated but unconfirmed data is marked with asterisks.)

Had you come asking earlier, my reply would have been no. But for a blessing, Forename here has just furnished us with more. I shall see that it is delivered to you.

Aye, this is the kindly adventurer who has been working with Sanana. We owe our good health to their tireless efforts.

We can ill afford to have them so distracted. No, I would have my people focus upon only one thing: embracing the outside world. Though they still have a long way to go, we will guide them, one sure step at a time.

And yet there is still much work to be done if the people of Sui–no–Sato are to shed their apprehensions towards the outside world. To that end, Kurenai has a new favor to ask of you...
Our people have begun to harbor interest in the outside world. We must nurture that interest by introducing more useful foreign items into their lives.
And for the next item, I ask that you bring equipment that might afford us protection against sharks. In the past, such things were unnecessary, as the people of Isari kept the creatures' population at bay through regular and large-scale fishing expeditions.
However, such expeditions were largely abandoned under imperial rule. As a result, shark numbers have multiplied to plague-like proportions, and in their competition for limited prey, the creatures have grown uncommonly savage.
In order to keep our citizens safe, I would commence regular patrols of the surrounding waters. Alas, our guards are ill equipped for such a dangerous task. Against a shark's tough skin, their weapons are as playthings.
Through the Blue Kojin, we acquired blades of steel from Kugane. Yet while these are indeed deadly sharp, their weight renders them unwieldy, not to mention they quickly go to rust.
What we need, Forename, is a weapon that shall neither rust nor be stopped by sharkskin. With your knowledge of techniques from above, could you please furnish us with such an item?

Smiles are beginning to appear on the people's faces, and it is in no small part due to you, my friend.
If the player delivers Anti-shark Harpoon
Hmmm, yes, impressively sturdy yet suitably light. A harpoon such as this should serve us well against sharks and help to keep our waters safe.

Ah, of course. Though metal has its uses, in our watery domain, bone and stone shall ever be the materials of choice for weapons. Our guards shall be well pleased.
If the player delivers Lake Sphairai
Such imposing fangs, as sharp as they are long! Fine harpoon blades these shall make, in the spirit of Gridanian philosophy. We have much to learn from those dwellers of the forest.
On Satisfaction Level 2 Completion
And with this, we now have enough harpoons to arm our guards. Regular patrols may finally commence!
Start of cutscene.As anticipated, our guards were very pleased with their new harpoons. What I did not anticipate, however, was that our youths would also take a shine to them. They were quite fascinated by its foreign construction.
And this is a source of delight for you, Hisui? Placing one's trust in land-dwellers... I cannot think of a greater folly. It will not do for this sentiment to spread.
Jik...I mean, Lord Jikkan! And Lord Shiosai besides. To what do I owe the honor...?
It has come to my attention that our citizens are being led astray. Seduced first by outsider medicines, and now outsider weapons.
I labor to comprehend how the princess could permit this. 'Tis bad enough that the guards have taken up these harpoons; now our youths desire them too! Mark my words, this can end in naught but bloodshed.
Lest we forget, both the Confederacy and the Kojin were dragged into Doma's bloody conflict against the Empire.
Should their leader, this Lord Hien, learn that our people are arming themselves, in his insatiable thirst for war, he may well come banging on our gates to demand our participation. Surely you see the danger.
With respect, my lord, may I remind you that this is not the palace. There are eyes and ears all around us─foreign eyes and ears.
I would remind you also of the agreement: that you and your fellow elders would watch how the citizens respond to Her Grace's plan. As impartial observers. Your words can ill be described as impartial.
We have naught to gain by cowering inside our little bubble! Nay, by shutting out the rest of the world in the name of tradition, we but consign ourselves to a slow demise!

Indeed. 'Tis an irrational fear, ingrained over generations and perpetuated by willful ignorance. If we are to free ourselves from it, we must have the chance to know the world above.

But of course, Shiosai. None among us is more familiar with our people's daily lives than you. What is it that ails them?
As Your Grace knows, we dwell at the bottom of the sea by virtue of the Kojin's enchantments. Yet though we have air to breathe and live, our home has ever been a bitterly cold place.
Due to our closed environment, we cannot avail ourselves of the benefits of fire. And so we have had to endure, covering ourselves in such garments as we possess. While this may suffice for the young and healthy, the old and infirm struggle simply to survive.
Indeed, the cold has ever been a trial for us. Yet I have heard of a place above far colder still, a land of endless winter where ice falls instead of rain. There, a great nation thrives, and its people must have effective ways of coping in that frozen clime, such as garbs of transcendent warmth.
That's got to be Coerthas, I reckon. I've never been that far out of Ul'dah─at least not till now─but you've definitely been there, right, Forename?

Each day is filled with new discoveries. Though the work can be tiring, I could not imagine a more worthwhile way to expend my energies.

My, such thick, warm garments! Naught that we have could compare to this. Thus clothed, we need no longer shiver through the night.
If the player delivers Phial of Thermal Fluid
So, by coating garments with this fluid, one can increase their ability to ward off cold? That something so wondrous should exist! Our citizens will surely be impressed!
If the player delivers Warmscale Pleco
The resourceful denizens of Coerthas apparently weave dragon scales into their garments for added warmth. Borrowing from this inspired idea, we shall avail ourselves of the scales of this fish, which has evolved to survive in extreme cold.
On Satisfaction Level 3 Completion
Thank you, Forename. With the items you have brought us, none of our old and infirm need fear Sui–no–Sato's cold nights any longer. I shall see to their distribution at once.
I am pleased to say that your winter wares have been very well received. The old and infirm are singing their praises, and those around them cannot help but be impressed as well.

All were in awe of the foreign techniques employed in its creation, and full many of them were inspired to contribute like items of their own.
The quality doesn't compare to yours, of course, but it's none too shabby either. As a matter of fact, it's good enough for the House to deal in. By my reckoning, we've got enough hands to meet anticipated demand─assuming they're willing.
T-Truly!? If the House of Splendors should be willing to stock our products, we would be honored to supply them!
Glad to hear it. I must confess, though, I've been eyeing ways to turn a profit out of this for a while now. Grateful as I am for my life, I couldn't call myself a trader if I ignored the opportunity for an exclusive supply deal.

This brings me to my apology. My fear of the unknown had blinded me to many things, not least of all to our people's potential. I see this now, as do my fellow elders. And I speak for all of us when I say that we would be grateful for your continued support of Her Grace's cause.
We are as newly hatched fish yet trying to find our way in a great ocean. I, too, ask for your continued support...though I myself can no longer be involved in this endeavor.

There is something which I have had in mind for a time. As it is not urgent in nature, I had set it aside until such time as we had addressed our citizens' more pressing needs.
In our libraries, there exists a tome that describes a continent floating in the firmament. An enigmatic place called the Sea of Clouds, said to be home to countless treasures.
I should be grateful if you could bring me one such treasure. It would serve as a token, I believe, of the vastness of the world─a reminder to our people to turn their gaze ever outward.
Come now, Princess, you just want to see the treasure for yourself.
Hehe, a claim I shan't refute. And if truth be told, Forename, there is another favor I would ask of you.
You will recall that, for our visit to Kugane, I had the opportunity to dress as the locals do. Simply donning the attire provided me with many an insight into the culture whence it came.
I have since learned of wondrous objects called glamour prisms. Through them, I would be grateful if you could alter the appearance of my garments, thereby allowing me to gain an insight into even more cultures.
However strange the method may seem, if it grants me deeper understanding of the outside world, I am open to it. Should you come upon any likely garments in your travels, I ask that you reserve them for me.
