This young woman of twenty and one summers struggled to take care of her sister Khloe Aliapoh after their parents perished in the Seventh Umbral Calamity, and eventually entered into Rowena's service to make ends meet. After five long years, she struck out on her own and started a new venture, Menphina's Arms, a humble orphanage for others like her and her sister. Through years of hardship, Zhloe developed a taste for week-old pineapple pudding, and credits her habit as the reason for her strong, healthy teeth. Whether there is any merit to her claims is anyone's guess.

Zhloe worked side by side with the Warrior of Light to expand her business and sell her Collectables to the people of Ishgard to help bring her orphanage from a small, barely functional shack to a home for children like her and her sister. She worked day in and out to pay off her and Rowena's debts incurred from opening the orphanage, and eventually even became the supplier for the Maelstrom for their war games. She and the Warrior of Light both help take care of the orphans, providing them with meals, bedding and clothes, and even gifts for a shared nameday. She constantly puts the children before herself, working to the bone to make sure they all are capable of living happy lives.

Perfect!  This should make a lovely addition to Zhloe's inventory.

I must say, <name>.  I've never seen treasures quite so exquisite as those you've procured for me.  Why, you might be the most crafter, gatherer and fisherer that I've met since...well, ever!  Wait, did I just say "fisherer?"  That's not a word...is it?

Compared to that, my own skills as a trader leave something to be desired.  But is Zhloe going to give up?  Not on your life!  The children are depending on me!  Wait...did I forget to feed them breakfast again?

But to be honest, sometimes I worry.  You've done so much for Zhloe, but what has Zhloe really done for you?  I like working with you, but I wouldn't want you to waste your time unless you like working ith me too.

You can be honest with Zhloe.  She's strong.  She can take it.  Has our little partnership been as fun and fruitful for you has it has for me?
