Seventh Astral Era Main Scenario Quests
Seventh Astral Era Quests consists of all Main Scenario Quests released from Patch 2.1 to Patch 2.55 as part of the A Realm Reborn base game. There are a total of 80 quests (Not counting mandatory sidequests) in the Seventh Astral Era campaign. The story continues in the Heavensward Main Scenario Quests.
In patch 5.3, 20 quests were removed to streamline the experience for new players, bringing the number of quests down from 100 to 80.
Patch 2.1 (A Realm Awoken)
Where there is light, there will always be darkness. The beast tribes persist in their efforts to summon the Primals. The once defeated Garlean forces resurface, harbouring renewed ambitions of conquest. And the baleful Ascians lurk in the shadows, their presence rousing dark forces long since forgotten.

Patch 2.2 (Through the Maelstrom)
Long dormant forces stir, their awakening a presage of night eternal.
Political unrest pervades the three city-states as the Scions of the Seventh Dawn leave behind their home in the Waking Sands. For the betterment of Eorzea, they have re-established themselves beyond the reach of those who would sway the Scions for personal gain.
Yet despite the Scions' best efforts, balance will not be restored to the realm so easily. Ever do the mysteries of the Echo and the Ascians elude them, while the beast tribes rally with renewed ambition, threatening to unleash the wrath of another primal upon the land.

Patch 2.3 (Defenders of Eorzea)
When the world is thrown into chaos, who will rise to defend those too weak to defend themselves?
The Sahagin summoned Leviathan, Lord of the Whorl, that the unbridled fury of the sea would wash away those who would threaten their livelihood. Eorzea's people turned to the Warriors of Light, who drove this sinister serpent back into the briny deep.
