Trivia

Chemist is not available as a regular job in the game as of Dawntrail. According to interviews with Square Enix^{[citation needed]}, Chemist was originally considered to be a potential healer job but was scrapped in favor of sage due to difficulties with balancing an ingredient mixing system that has historically been at the core of the job in other Final Fantasy titles.
This job is based on the Chemist job from Final Fantasy V.
