Phantom Freelancer is a phantom job introduced in patch 7.25. It is the most basic phantom job.

Leveling

Instead of accruing experience points traditionally, Phantom Freelancer will gain a level for each other phantom job at the level cap.

This job is based on the Freelancer job from Final Fantasy V. While initially the weakest job with no unique actions and low stats, its ability to use any equipment, upgrade its base stats from mastering other jobs, and freely equip any abilities learned from other jobs eventually make it the strongest job in the game later on.
