Enlightenment Gold Pieces, abbreviated in-game as E. Gold Pieces, are a currency added in Patch 7.25 that can primarily be earned by defeating monsters in the wild within Occult Crescent Occult Crescent field zones. The maximum number of gold pieces a player can hold at once is 9,999.

Acquisition

Occult Crescent The Occult Crescent: South Horn

  • Defeat overworld enemies that can be chained. Enemies that are too low-leveled relative to the player's Knowledge Level will not drop gold.
  • One popular method is to form a party with KLv. 20 players and mass pull the KLv. 28 Occult Isleblazers and Crescent Zirnitra enemies in the southwest part of the map (requires at least one tank and 5-6 Phantom Cannoneers). The specific location is the highest ring directly below the top circular floor of the Abandoned Ascent structure. Full gold farming guide here.
    • In the case that not all players are KLv. 20 (but at least KLv. 19) or it is difficult to find an open instance where this location is not already taken by another party, players may also opt to farm the KLv. 27 Crescent Satana and Occult Golems one floor below, although these give less gold.
  • Persistent Pot and Happy Bunny coffers:
    • Bronze:  160
    • Silver:  480
    • Gold:  1,600
