  • Empty Promise is a donut AoE if the halo moves down to its body, enlarges and spins. Inflicts Vulnerability Up icon1.png Vulnerability Up.
  • Empty Promise is a small circle AoE if it clenches, holds the halo slanted and then moves a small halo furiously around the body. Inflicts Vulnerability Up icon1.png Vulnerability Up.
  • Vanishing Ray is an column AoE with no cast bar, but is telegraphed by Narrow-rift creating a massive hole through its body. Inflicts Vulnerability Up icon1.png Vulnerability Up.
  • Continual Meddling applies two Forced march icon1.png Forced March debuffs to the nearest targets. Look at your status effects to see which directions you will march in.
  • Empty Refrain executes one of the Empty Promise attacks, followed immediately be the other one. Remember the telegraph so you can march correctly for the first, then avoid the second.

Description

The great expanse is overwhelmingly vast...'tis why its names are uniformly grandiose, you know. Having developed without contact to us, sentient life hailing from other stars would display cultural, intellectual, and indeed physical differences to ourselves.
On a related note, do you know what I abhor most about our own physical forms?
The spine, of course! I simply loathe this incessant lower back pain. Think of how liberating it would be to shed this mortal shell and break free—to transform into a purely intellectual being!
Regardless of what corporeal woes once plagued them, others amongst those boundless stars must have found a means to lay them aside. As their minds were once governed by biological impulses, you may find that the strong prey on the weak even so...but that is a risk I am willing to take!

Lore

Having developed without contact to the people of Etheirys or its environment, sentient life hailing from other stars would naturally display cultural, intellectual, and indeed physical differences to the myriad races of our star. When considering the chronic back pain that oft plagues those who walk on two legs, however, Chrysielle began to wonder if any race throughout the sea of stars had found a means to transcend similar mortal trials, perhaps by becoming purely intellectual in substance—a xenobiological theory that has sparked rare interest among the greater academic community.
