Tips and Tricks
- Numbing Noise is a conal AoE from the front that applies a Vulnerability Up stack for 90 seconds.
- Tail Snap is a conal AoE from the rear that applies a Vulnerability Up stack for 90 seconds.
- Body Slam is a small circle AoE around Sugaar that applies a Vulnerability Up stack for 90 seconds.
Sugaar will occasionally telegraph that it will rotate clockwise or counterclockwise while casting Numbing Noise or Tail Snap. At the end of the cast it will do a wide draw-in, then attack and rotate 120° (1/3) 3 times. If you are out of range of the first attack before being drawn in, you will not get hit by it.
Description
“People often focus on the material losses, but the Flood is also responsible for depriving us of wisdom and knowledge─and no few religious traditions. Without people to pass them down to, faiths wither and die. But some survived, and with them stories, like that of the demon Sugaar. It's a simple tale, to be fair. “Listen to what your elders say, or Sugaar will come and spirit you away.” It helped too that it was a big, scary lizard. So when a particularly large sibilus was seen wandering Amh Araeng, it's no surprise that people thought to name it for the legend. Nevertheless, it's probably prudent not to ignore the wisdom of the aged, eh?

Lore
“"Listen to what your elders say, or Sugaar will come and spirit you away." A common tale of the sort told by parents to frighten their children into behaving. Yet it is just such ordinary folklore that survived the devastation of the Flood, passed down from one generation to the next, while other, less simple traditions withered and died. So when a particularly large sibilus was seen wandering Amh Araeng, it is no surprise that people drew inspiration for its name from the old demon lizard of legend.
