Uragnite

From Final Fantasy XIV Online Wiki

For centuries, the discrepancy in site between the largest (up to ten hands in length) and smallest (less than half an ilm) uragnites perplexed Lominsan naturalists, for there was no evidence of two different species. That all changed, however, with the discovery of records from the Fifth Astral Era showing that Nymian scholars discovered a way to magically manipulate the size of the wavekin, which were farmed for their flesh and dried for long-term preservation.
