Manderville Gold Saucer Points or MGP are a currency acquired and spent inside the Gold Saucer. MGP can be earned by playing mini-games, Triple Triad, Mini Cactpot, Chocobo Racing and other activities. This currency can be spent at various vendors such as Gold Saucer Attendant to purchase a great variety of items, including Triple Triad Cards, glamours, and mounts.

Earning MGP

MGP can be earned from the following activities:

• GATEs
• Triple Triad
  • Selling duplicate cards to a Triple Triad Trader NPC.
• Chocobo Racing
• Doman Mahjong
• Lord of Verminion
• Gold Saucer Mini-Games
• Mini Cactpot (Daily)
• Jumbo Cactpot (Weekly)
• Fashion Report (Weekly)
• Challenge Log (Weekly)
• Blunderville (Collab event, occasionally returns.)
• Squadron Missions by squadron members with "chance to receive bonus MGP" chemistry

Buffs

Several buffs increase the amount of MGP players earn from Gold Saucer activities. However, note that these buffs do not affect:

• MGP earned by selling duplicate cards to a Triple Triad Trader NPC.
• MGP earned from consumable vouchers.
• MGP earned from the Challenge Log.
• MGP earned from Squadron Missions.

All of these buff effects do not stack - only the highest effect applies.

The Make It Rain Campaign

The Make It Rain Campaign is a yearly seasonal event, usually lasting about 3 weeks, where most MGP earnings are increased by 50%. This stacks additively with buffs.

However, note that the Make It Rain bonus does not affect:

• MGP earned by selling duplicate cards to a Triple Triad Trader NPC.
• MGP earned from consumable vouchers.
• Jumbo Cactpot
• First-time rewards for Chocobo Challenge races.

However, unlike buffs, the Make It Rain bonus does affect MGP earned from the Challenge Log.

Consumables

Using these items instantly grants a set amount of MGP. Note that these are not affected by MGP-boosting buffs.

MGP can be exchanged for items at the following vendors:

• Gold Saucer Attendant (Sells standard prizes, including glamour, Minions, Mounts, Hairstyles, Emotes, Facewear, Fashion Accessories, Chocobo Barding, Orchestrion Rolls, and player housing furniture.)
  • Minion Trader (Sells minions. Has the same minions as the standard prize vendor.)
• Modern Aesthetics Saleswoman (Sells hairstyles. Has different hairstyles than the standard prize vendor.)
• Gold Saucer Attendant (GARO) (Sells undyeable versions of GARO gear.)
• Dibourdier (Sells Doman Mahjong character voices.)
• Triple Triad Traders (Sells Triple Triad Cards. All 3 variations of this vendor have the same inventory.)
