Any Way the Wind Blows

The mission statement of the Gold Saucer's founder, Godbert Manderville, states that all are welcome to seek employment at the Gold Saucer, regardless of race, nation, or creed. It's even said a kindly voidsent has joined their ranks after an aborted gladiatorial career. But who can withstand his gale-force nasal eruptions?

Any Way the Wind Blows is a GATE in Gold Saucer.

Guide

Players walk around the stage area and find a place to stand. For each of 5 rounds, players are inflicted with the debuff Red Light, which prevents movement, followed by Typhon appearing and executing a Snort AoE attack. This AoE can take various shapes, such as: a ring around the edge of the arena, a circle centered on Typhon himself, multiple circle AoEs around the stage, a cone AoE from Typhon's position, or a line AoE going across the stage. Any players caught in an attack will be blown off the stage. Players will earn MGP according to how many attacks they avoid.

This is a game simply based on luck, as players are frozen before Typhon appears, and his attacks occur at random - meaning there is no way to react to or predict these attacks. That said, there is a distinct list of possible attacks that can occur - so players can simply pick a spot that has the least possible attacks overlapping it, for the highest chance of success. These low-overlap locations have already been figured out, and are viewable in an image below or in this imgur album.

Overall, players have a good chance of success by standing at the wingtips of the butterfly at the southern side of the stage (specifically, centering their own targeting cirle on the little nub in the wing).
