GP

GP, or gathering points, are required to use certain gathering actions. While playing a Disciple of the Land, the GP bar replaces the MP bar.

Outside of gathering, 5 GP regenerates every Eorzean minute (~3 real-life seconds). Passive traits can increase this up to 8 GP.

While gathering, Botanist and Miner regenerate 5 GP per gathering attempt (i.e. hitting a node). Passive traits can increase this up to 6 GP.

• Fisher instead uses the time-based regeneration, even while actively fishing.

Reaching specific GP thresholds for a given node will randomly result in a node integrity bonus, allowing for more gathering attempts.

Consumables

The following consumables can instantly restore a set amount of GP. Once used, they will incur a cooldown.

However, note that they cannot be used while gathering at a node.
