GP

GP, or gathering points, are required to use some of your gathering actions. While you are playing a Disciple of the Land, GP bar replaces your MP bar. Outside of gathering, GP regenerates by a fixed amount every Eorzean minute (~3 real-life seconds). While gathering, GP regenerates by a fixed amount per gathering attempt (i.e. hitting a node). Base GP regeneration is increased by certain traits learned at higher levels. Reaching specific GP thresholds for a given node will randomly result in a node integrity bonus, allowing for more gathering attempts.
