Beyond the waters of the Indigo Deep, upon the continent of Tural, there rises a mighty peak whose name means “conqueror of snow”─Worqor Chirteh. Long ago in its shadow, a bloody battle was waged between Yok Huy tribes, and ages on from that struggle, the Grand Companies of Eorzea have secured access to this ancient battlefield that they might put their forces to the proof. Join the fray now beneath your chosen banner, and under the watchful gaze of the snow spirits, fight your way to victory and glory!

— In-game description

Worqor Chirteh (Triumph) is a level 30 PvP duty introduced in patch 7.4 with Dawntrail.

It is the fifth type of 24v24v24 Frontline battle currently available.

General Mechanics

Worqor Chirteh (Triumph) is subject to general mechanics that are present in other Frontline campaigns. More information can be found here.

Victory Conditions

The following are transcribed from the Patch 7.4 notes:

Across the field of battle, there are points of tactical importance known as triumphs. By laying claim to these locations, players can increase their tactical rating over time. The first team to reach a rating of 1,400 will be declared the winner.

  • If no team reaches a rating of 1,400 by the time limit, the team with the highest rating will be declared the winner.

Remaining teams will be ranked according to their respective ratings.

Triumph States

In the course of battle, triumphs will assume one of four states, in the following order:

State Image Description
Inactive When inactive, a triumph cannot be claimed. All triumphs are inactive at the onset of battle, but as time passes, they will randomly begin activating.
Activating When a triumph begins activating, a symbol will appear above it indicating the time remaining before it becomes unclaimed. The symbol will gradually take shape until it becomes complete, rendering the triumph unclaimed.
Unclaimed When a triumph is unclaimed, several fields of triumph will appear around it. Once a single team secures all fields, they will claim the triumph for themselves.
Claimed When claimed, a triumph gradually increases a team's tactical rating. A triumph that has been claimed cannot be seized by the opposition; however, after a certain amount of time has elapsed, it will revert to being inactive.

Fields of Triumph

Several fields of triumph will appear around an unclaimed triumph. The number of fields of triumph are determined by the vertices of the triumph; for example, triangles will have three fields of triumph and diamonds will have four fields of triumph. Only one player is required to stand in each field of triumph to capture it.

Fields of triumph cannot be captured so long as a member of an opposing Grand Company is within the contested area. Capture progress of the current field of triumph is indicated by the "Frontline Campaign Info" HUD element.

Triumphs located in the central gully are more challenging to capture as ranged jobs can easily attack from above.

Triumph Rank

When a triumph begins activating, it will randomly be assigned a rank: B, A, or S, as indicated by the corresponding shape. While higher-ranked triumphs are rarer, they increase a teams tactical rating at a faster rate.

B Rank A Rank S Rank

Weather

The field will also be subject to changes in weather, which cause different effects depending on the conditions. Snow will always be the first weather condition at approximately 16:00 time remaining, while Auroras will always be the second weather condition. at approximately 9:00 time remaining.

Snow

As time passes in a match, snow may begin to fall on Worqor Chirteh. While snow is falling, snow spirits will appear around the arena to engage in a bout of mischief-making.

  • Snow Soldiers: When snow spirits appear, they will cast Soldiers of 'Fridgeration to create snow troops of various sizes around the arena. These snow soldiers form obstacles that can be used to turn the tide of battle in your favor.

  • Blessed Blast: When snow spirits are present, they will repeatedly cast Blessed Blast. The indicator for this ability is depicted as icy circle AoEs that are slowly filled in. Players caught in this blast will be protected by a barrier (Snow Fort) that nullifies damage.
The barrier is approximately 50% of maximum HP and lasts thirty seconds, and can be refreshed over itself. This ability can occur almost anywhere on the map, including triumph locations, and can be combined with other sources of damage mitigation. In particular, tanks can combine this with their damage mitigation abilities to push opposing teams off triumphs.

Auroras

As time passes in a match, auroras may appear in the skies over Worqor Chirteh. This weather condition causes the following two effects:

  • Increases the likelihood that triumphs will activate as a higher rank.
  • Gradually fills the limit gauge of all players with the Sky's the Limit buff. This buff will stack with   Final Fantasia and the usual boost to the Limit Gauge according to a Grand Company's current ranking in the match.

Battle Log

In Worqor Chirteh (Triumph), information regarding claimed triumphs and weather changes will be displayed in the battle log.
