Notes

• The 15s duration means the player has 15s after catching a fish to use this action. Once the action has been used, the effect persists until something causes it to disappear
• Once applied, this effect will disappear if:
  • The player catches a fish.
  • The player casts out with a bait that the target fish cannot bite on.
  • The player Quits out of the fishing stance.
• If a fish can be caught directly or through a Mooch at the same fishing hole (example: Thavnairian Caiman at Fishing Log: The Font of Maya), Identical Cast will not be available to use after catching it through a mooch.
  • Therefore, if Identical Cast is available after a mooch, then it is always a waste of GP, as this indicates that no bait can catch the fish directly.
• Identical Cast cannot be used on:
  • Big Fish (including Legendary Fish).
  • Fish that the player chooses to preserve as  Collectables.
  • Fish that are obtained as key items (such as Snow Smelt).
