Scholars believe that after several millennia of seclusion on the Sea of Clouds, the necks and legs of the antelope-like dhalmel grew so that the creatures might better reach the foliage growing on neighboring islets, or roots jutting from those which passed overhead. Dhalmel femurs and ribs can grow so large, in fact, that many Vanu Vanu tribes have taken to using them in the construction of their great halls.
