Trick Attack is an action unlocked at level 18. It is available for Rogue / Ninja.

Gameplay
- Prior to Suiton and Huton being learned at level 45 through Jin, Trick Attack can only be used to engage generic enemies and is not possible to use against bosses, as rogues and ninjas cannot sneak up to them. For more information, see Hide.
- This is the only existing ability in the game with a positional.
History
Patch 6.1 (2022-04-12): The additional effect "Increases target's damage taken by 5%" has been changed to "Increases damage you deal target by 10%."- Patch 6.0 (2021-12-07):
- Potency has been changed from 350 to 300.
- Rear attack potency has been changed from 500 to 400.
Patch 5.2 (2020-02-18): Fixed an issue in Trust dungeons wherein using Trick Attack immediately after Ryne uses Trick Attack caused the buff timer to stop counting down for several seconds.- Patch 5.1 (2019-10-29):
- Potency has been increased from 340 to 350.
- Vulnerability up effect no longer requires execution from the enemy's rear.
- Effect potency has been reduced from 10% to 5%.
- Effect duration has been increased from 10 to 15 seconds.
- Patch 5.0 (2019-07-02):
- Potency has been increased from 240 to 340.
- Potency when executed from a target's rear has been increased from 400 to 500.
Patch 4.0 (2017-06-20): Now acquired at level 18 (previously level 50).
