“Roused to anger by the slaughter of his spawn, the Serpentlord─Ttokrrone─has awoken and seeks bloody vengeance.
— In-game description
The Serpentlord Seethes is a level 100 FATE spawned in Shaaloani.
Prerequisites
In order to spawn this Boss FATE, 4 FATEs must be completed beforehand:
- The Serpentlord Stirs (24, 32)
- The Serpentlord Speaks (29, 17)
- The Serpentlord Sires (21, 8)
- The Serpentlord Suffers (21, 8)
- Flying is required to reach the FATE.
Ttokrrone will not spawn if it is still on cooldown. If the FATE chain restarts from the beginning, then Ttokrrone is on cooldown.
If Ttokrrone is ready to spawn, this FATE will appear on the map within a few minutes after completing the fourth FATE in the chain, although it may occasionally take longer.
Location
Shaaloani - Sandnest (X:22.5, Y:5.1) - Isolated circle arena at the north of the map.
Guide
Ttokrrone
- Devour: Telegraphed circle AoE in front of where it is facing, also causing the boss to jump to the AoE telegraph.
- (Direction) Sandspout: Late telegraphed 90 degree conal AoE hitting in the direction of the cast, along with an untelegraphed point-blank AoE (Deadly Dustcloak) hitting the inside of its hitbox.
- Fangward = front
- Tailward = back
- Rightward = right
- Leftward = left
- Desert Tempest: One of three possible attacks based on the animation of the boss's two large barbel-like appendages.
- If both barbels have small yellow rings circling them, they will indicate a late telegraph donut AoE.
- If both barbels have an electricity-like particle effect and no rings, they will indicate a large, late telegraph point-blank AoE that extends slightly beyond max melee range.
- If one barbel has yellow rings and the other has electricity, they will do their corresponding donut or point-blank AoEs, but each will only hit half the room.
- Touchdown: Room-wide physical damage.
- Landswallow: Telegraphed wide line column AoE, followed by additional charges in the direction of the brown arrows that spawn on the arena. This attack is used twice in a row. Anyone hit will take massive damage.
- Touchdown: Now spawns multiple circle AoEs in addition to room-wide damage. The AoEs will each spawn a floating sand sphere, which will begin glowing, indicating late telegraphed large point-blank AoEs from them. These are combined with Desert Tempest.
- (Direction) Dustdevil: A series of frontal conal AoE that will rotate 90 degrees each time, in the direction of the spinning arrows. Each of them is combined with an untelegraphed point-blank AoE hitting the inside of its hitbox. The boss will turn to face the direction of the cast for the first AoE, then begin rotating. The boss will use 4 conal AoEs in total.
- Instead of attempting to rotate with the boss to dodge the AoEs, it is much easier to stand at the flank/rear cutoffs of its targeting ring slightly left or right to dodge into a region that was just hit by an AoE.
- Later in the fight, two sets of sand spheres will spawn and will be combined with Desert Tempest and (Direction) Sandspout.
