Scorch (PvP) is an action unlocked at level 30. It is available for Red Mage.
Notes
- Red mage's enchanted melee combo in PvP is unremarkable due to its low potencies (even in bursts) and relatively high risk when engaging multiple opponents. It should thus be used as needed for sustained damage after bursts, to sustain against one or two opponents, or to bypass Guard. Scorch should still ideally be ready for execution in preparation for bursts due to its high potency, however.
- If Scorch is available, it should be prioritized over Prefulgence and Resolution with Displacement. It is important to consider if the healing from Prefulgence would be a higher priority, however.
