Introduction

There are a lot of missing pages and blank spaces in this wiki. In an effort to assist in finding all the problems, please edit this page with bulleted lists of things you see that need done. When an item on the list has been worked on, indicate with parenthesis what was done, and if it still needs more info, pictures, formatting, or anything else.

The main goal for this page is to lay out everything that needs user contributions, so even if you only have a few minutes, it is very easy to find something you are particularly interested in or knowledgeable about and shape it up a bit. Be ambitious!

Format

When adding an item to the To-Do list, please follow these guidelines:

  1. Place the item under the appropriate heading, or under 'Other' if no appropriate heading exists.
  2. Use one of the following formats.

    • Details: “It would be great if someone skilled in the "ask" syntax could make a template similar to Template:dropped by and Template:vendor list for the various retainer ventures.”


  • REQUEST: Remove “extractable” and “collectable” fields from gear templates
    • Status: Backlog
    • Details: “On gear templates, the "extractable" and "collectable" fields need to be removed in a safe way since those systems no longer function in a way that needs them. Materia creation no longer destroys items, so all are extractable and collectables are no longer real gear, but separate "Rarefied" items. See   Amateur's Headgear for an example.     • Details: "Looking for a way to have a table of images on one page that can be queried on another, to make the gallery of armor sets on armor set pages accessible on the pages for the armor parts, and on whatever composite galleries we want to complete. This will allow pages to be built with placeholders for when those images are available without knowing the image file name or description. Possible architecture:
- A template for a table that contains rows with image descriptions. By default it displays the images in the rows in a gallery tag.
- A template for a row that contains an image file name, a text description and an arbitrary label ("tank", "paladin", etc).
- A function that can query a page with this table for a particular label and get back the image file name and the description as an image. Ideally this would work inside a gallery tag. Alternately, returns/displays nothing if the query comes up empty.
