“A slave to his many vices, weaponsmith Gerolt Blackthorn will frequently visit pits to partake in a friendly wager or two. He was during one of these visits that he witnessed several bouts featuring a young fistfighter named Dalha—all of which the Roegadyn lost in pitiful fashion. Taking pity upon the boy (after losing several thousand of his own gil), Gerolt gifted him with a custom-made pair of metal knuckles. Three moons later, Dalha had won thirty matches straight and was crowned champion.
