Orders your faerie away while granting you a full Aetherflow stack. Also increases healing magic potency by 20%.
Duration: 30s
Current faerie will return once the effect expires.
Summon Eos cannot be executed while under the effect of Dissipation.
Can only be executed while in combat.

— In-game description

Dissipation is an action unlocked by questing at level 60. It is available for Scholar.

Gameplay

  • Actions that can only be executed by a faerie cannot be executed while under the effect of Dissipation. Such actions include, but are not limited to: Embrace, Whispering Dawn, Fey Illumination, Aetherpact, Fey Blessing. Any and all actions requiring a faerie may be executed before executing Dissipation – their cooldowns, if applicable, and effects, if applied, will still be active.
  • Only healing magic potency is affected, meaning only the potency of healing spells are increased. Some actions include Physick, Succor / Concitation, and Adloquium. Scholars may especially cast Adloquium with Recitation to ensure a sizeable barrier is generated, so it may be spread with Deployment Tactics. For more information on creating a bigger barrier to be spread, see Deployment Tactics.
  • Three stacks of Aetherflow are granted upon executing this action. The potencies of healing abilities, such as Lustrate or Indomitability, are not increased. Access to healing abilities that consume Aetherflow and increased healing magic potency will make up for the lost casts of Embrace.
  • This action cannot be used if Seraph has been summoned, or if the scholar is under the effect of Seraphism. Inversely, the aforementioned actions cannot be executed if Dissipation is active.
  • It is typically not recommended to execute this action for three more uses of Energy Drain for DPS, especially if the utility the effects of this action do not outweigh the negligible DPS increase.

History
