At the height of the Fifth Astral Era, ancient Mhach was home to the archmagus Calofisteri. It is said that she gained inhuman power through an infusion of voidsent blood─a technique developed by her grandfather─and appointed herself guardian of the Nullstone, a powerful relic that kept the fiends from breaking their pacts. This conjured version, however, is naught but a mindless clone believed to have been weaponized during the War of the Magi. Its presence on the Occult Crescent can only be the architect's doing.
