Grants you Closed Position and designates a party member as your Dance Partner, allowing you to share the effects of Saber Dance, Dance of the Dawn, Starfall Dance, Fan Dance, and Curing Waltz with said party member.
Effect ends upon reuse.
Grants you Solo Step when your Dance Partner knocks out an enemy, upgrading Saber Dance to Dance of the Dawn.

Closed Position (PvP) is an action unlocked at level 30. It is available for Dancer.

Gameplay

• Unlike its PvE variant, it is recommended to swap Dance Partners often, depending on the scenario. Some examples include:
  • Engaging with another frontlining job with Fan Dance and Starfall Dance to help establish a frontline.
  • Boosting a job's offensive bursting capabilities with Saber Dance or Dance of the Dawn.
  • Helping another job generate another limit break within a match with Dance of the Dawn.
  • Swapping to a party member in distress and executing Curing Waltz for a quick heal, especially if they are Guarding. While you may stack near them to give them double the amount of healing, it is very likely that you may get cleaved as the radius of Curing Waltz is smaller than numerous enemy AoE actions.

  • The newly added action Dance of the Dawn (PvP) is now affected by Dance Partner.
  • The effect "Grants you Solo Step when your Dance Partner knocks out an enemy, upgrading Saber Dance to Dance of the Dawn" has been added.
