Notes

  • Although not explicitly documented in the tooltip, this action can also be applied to party members.

Gameplay

There also exists numerous synergies with the potent effects of Bravery outside of giving it to oneself. Some examples are listed below:

  • Giving Bravery to any tank.
    • Tanks with Rampart as their role action receive excessive amounts of damage reduction, especially for paladins.
    • Tanks with Rampage as their role action will debuff numerous opponents easier, in conjunction with their burst damage being drastically improved.
    • Warriors benefit greatly with this action, as their survivability is lower compared to other tanks. Bloodwhetting will be more effective, as it grants the warrior a large shield that would last longer, and allows them to deal more damage for lifesteal.
    • Dark Knights will survive better within their patch of Salted Earth, as Salted Earth grants additional damage reduction. Dark Knights are also higher-priority targets due to their crowd-control and AoE burst damage potential with actions such as Impalement and Eventide.
    • Gunbreakers have constant access to shields with every execution of Continuation. Furthermore, Nebula allows for good counter damage. A good gunbreaker can correctly combine all buffs needed to sustain as long as paladins, while dealing more damage than them.
  • Giving Bravery to vipers will drastically prolong how long they may soak damage with Snake Scales, while also dealing very high AoE burst damage with Backlash. Vipers with Bloodbath should be prioritized, due to its very potent lifesteal and damage increase.
  • Giving Bravery to dragoons will allow them to deal high ranged burst damage, while taking less damage as Life of the Dragon increases the amount of damage dragoons receive. Sky Shatter can do very high burst damage while being more subtle than vipers, if done correctly.
