A Chorus Slime is a stage in The Masked Carnivale for Blue Mage, introduced in patch 4.5 with Stormblood.

Act 1

Enemies

Strategy

Slimes explode when they are damaged and that explosion will one-shot the sprites. In Act 1, simply fire   Water Cannon,   Drill Cannons or any other ranged attack at the lava slime to set it off. Make sure you are a safe distance away before doing so.

Act 2

Strategy

Use   Sticky Tongue to pull the Slimes behind the crates and to the Sprites and then move to a safe distance before firing   Water Cannon or   Drill Cannons to set them off.

Act 3

Strategy

When approached, the towers will cast Low Voltage, an explosion that will deal high damage (~2k) unless you are hiding behind a wall. Additionally, when the towers die, they will instant-cast Object 130, an instant-kill AoE (30k damage) unless you are hiding behind a wall.

As in Act 2, use   Sticky Tongue to bring the 3 slimes to the towers, then set them off from a distance. Make sure you are behind a wall when the tower takes the third hit, to avoid the revenge AoE. Rinse and repeat for the second tower.

Note that the walls do not block slime explosions, so stay a safe distance away.

Optimizing

Bring   Snort,   Sticky Tongue,   Sonic Boom, and   Feather Rain.   Snort is a cone knockback and does not deal damage to the Lava Slimes, allowing you to move multiple slimes in a single spellcast.   Feather Rain is an excellent instant cast AoE detonator.

If doing a "Too Fast, Too Furious" challenge: during act 3, move 3 of the slimes between the two nodes to hit both simultaneously. The 3 unused slimes can then be quickly detonated afterwards.
