“

Its name a portmanteau of “vermillion” and “flare,” this incantation seeks to rival the destructive power of the black mage spell that shares the latter’s denomination. Rather than draw on ambient aether to cause a single, massive explosion, Verflare overlaps a number of smaller arcane eruptions.

• Patch 6.5 (2023-10-03): Potency has been increased from 580 to 600.
• Patch 6.0 (2021-12-07):
  • The effect "Deals fire damage with a potency of 600" has been changed to "Deals fire damage to target and all enemies nearby it with a potency of 580 for the first enemy, and 60% less for all remaining enemies."
  • Radius has been changed from 0 to 5 yalms.
  • Black Mana increase amounts have been changed from 21 to 11.
  • Activation requirement of Mana Stack Cost: 3 has been added.
  • Action animation updated.
• Patch 5.05 (2019-07-29): MP cost has been reduced from 500 to 400.
