The Yard is a landmark in The Doman Enclave, Othard. It is divided into two parts: the north, which is home to Araragi's paper mill, and the south, where Tsuranuki's smithy is located.[1]

In one end, carpenters and smiths work closely to fashion tools and prepare materials for various purposes, while in the other papermakers produce what may be one of Doma's most prized commodities.
