Lore
"Like any pirate worth his salt, I know when you're starin' down a storm, you've got to trust in the commander of your ship.'
Six and twenty summers old, this enterprising Midlander has risen to become the acting captain of the Bloody Executioners, one of Limsa Lominsa's three great pirate powers, succeeding the ailing Hyllfyr. A born buccaneer who can hang a man from a ship's bow in a matter of heartbeats, Sicard vehemently opposed Merlwyb's efforts to bring an end to the nation's conflict with the kobolds and Sahagin. Following a duel with the Admiral, however, he came to accept her leadership and began exploring new opportunities for his crew. His involvement with the Ilsabard contingent, which saw him helm numerous missions, helped him to recognize potential avenues of profit, and he later saw the Bloody Executioners carve out a place in the lucrative shipping industry. In the pursuit of his endeavors, it is said that his unlikely friendship with Emmanellain de Fortemps has been quite advantageous.
