Rotting Goobbue

Rotting goobbues are believed to be infected with spores of a deadly funguar which root themselves in the creatures' brains and proceed to consume the grey matter until there is naught left but and empty skull full of more spores. A goobbue will die almost immediately after infection, but the funguar will keep the body alive, guiding it back to its territory so it might die amongst its kin...into which new spores will be released.
