Known as a “flying shark” in the Far East, the rockfin employs an elastic bladder filled with lighter-than-air vapors to grant it a temporary means of flight. To subdue its prey, the shark will pummel it with its rigid dorsal fin, looking to stun the creature, at which time it will use its countless rows of razor-sharp teeth to complete the bloody business.
