Guide
Alabaster Blade is weak to 
lightning-aspected phantom job actions.

| Embrittling Blade | Raid-wide physical damage. |
| Summon | The boss summons two untargetable Alabaster Golem adds opposite each other. Each add will have an orange arrow indicating where it is facing. |
| Fourfold Attack Order | Each add will spawn a telegraphed 90 degree frontal conal AoE (Acclaim). In addition, either one or three blue arrows will spawn by each add. After the first set of AoEs go off, each add will rotate clockwise 90 degrees. The adds will then each use the same AoE attack from their new direction, but the AoEs will now be late-telegraphed. This repeats for four sets of AoEs. In addition, each add will rotate the same number of times as the number of arrows by them (e.g. an add with one arrow will rotate once then remain facing the same direction). |
| Left-Right Combination or Right-Left Combination | Several line AoE telegraphs will appear, leaving safe lanes. In addition, the boss will use a late-telegraphed half-room cleave in the direction of the first name in the cast, then an untelegraphed half-room cleave in the other direction. |
| Light Prayer | Light energy has taken material form... The boss summons two waves targetable Light Aether adds that will begin approaching it. The adds must be defeated before they reach the boss, or they will increase the Stone Sword Strength duty gauge. During the first wave of adds, large crisscrossing line AoE telegraphs will spawn. In the second wave, alternating conal AoE telegraphs will spawn, along with circle AoE telegraphs on random players' locations.

| False Spellblade Holy | Magical raid-wide damage. Will wipe the raid if Stone Sword Strength is 100. |
| Summon + Fourfold Attack Order | Similar as before, but now spawns four Alabaster Golems (one per intercardinal) instead of two. Solving for the safe spots can be challenging, so see diagram here for a quick reference of the four possible patterns. The remainder of the battle will be a loop of this mechanic and Left-Right/Right-Left Combination. |

- This critical encounter is required to progress In the Shadow of the Tower.
Phantom Blue Mages can learn Occult Aero III from this critical encouter. They must have reached level 3 and already know Occult Aero II in order to learn this spell.
