The self-proclaimed "brain of Zenos," Lugae first engaged the Ilsabard contingent by sending forth Barnabas, a hulking monstrosity he referred to as his "beautiful little boy." After Barnabas's defeat, the engineer implanted his own brain into a mechanical body to claim revenge, but again was laid low. Although they initially assumed that Lugae met his end in the Tower of Babil, the Ilsabard contingent later noted that his body had disappeared without a trace. It is possible that he escaped to parts unknown.
