“Allows for the strengthening of the gaze of the first brood upon successfully landing Mirage Dive. When the gaze is its strongest (2 units), Geirskogul will grant you the Life of the Dragon status. While under the effect of Life of the Dragon, Geirskogul will change to Nastrond.

Life of the Dragon is a trait unlocked by questing at level 70. It is available for Dragoon.

Patch 6.0 (2021-12-07):
- Deleted the execution requirement "while under the effect of Blood of the Dragon."
- Life of the Dragon no longer reverts to Blood of the Dragon when duration expires.
- Mirage Dive must successfully hit a target to count.
- A fixed duration of 20 seconds has been added. Previously the duration would have been the current time remaining on Blood of the Dragon plus 10 seconds.
Patch 5.0 (2019-07-02): Required gaze of the first brood has been reduced from 3 to 2 units.
Patch 4.1 (2017-10-10): Now states the Dragon Gauge only requires 3 units to receive the Life of the Dragon status after using Geirskogul.- Patch 4.0 (2017-06-20): Added.
