Interim Government of Ala Mhigo
The government form of Ala Mhigo is currently an interim government, with the idea to form a republic like Ishgards[1].
Determination of Rulership
The determination of a leader is still unknonw. However, until the republic is formed, Lyse is considered the de-facto representative of the Ala Mhigan people, while Raubahn is the commander of the military forces, the former Ala Mhigan Resistance.
Leaders
Ruling Body
After consulting the community leaders, village elders and beast tribe leaders of Gyr Abania[2], they agreed to give the ruling power to an elected council[3].
Council Members
Following characters are considered the community leaders. Not all are known by name, but can be seen in the cutscene of Return of the Bull.
Additional Information
Before the Garlean occupation, Ala Mhigo was a monarchy[4], which ended with the reign of the mad king Theodoric I[5]. With the interim government, the community leaders decided quickly to not return to a monarchy, but give political power to the people[2].
