Journal

  • Rral Soj is eager to begin her explanation.
  • Rral Soj has tasked you with crafting reed scythes built for Hanuhanu hands.
    • ※Minimum collectability rating for this delivery is 170. Delivering items with a rating of 340 or more will earn greater rewards.
  • You deliver the reed scythes to Rral Soj. The farmer soon arrives to retrieve their order, and is so pleased with the quality of your work that she thanks both you and Papawni directly. Evidently, this is Papawni's first time to be shown gratitude by a customer, and she is moved by the experience. Rral Soj asks that you continue to lend your assistance until Papawni has a better handle on the tasks required of her.

Dialogue

A large order... I'll do my best!
I take it you're ready. I'll elaborate on the details o' the order then.
A Hanuhanu farmer requested a large supply o' scythes to be used for harvestin' reeds.
Though reeds are relatively light, they're deceptively firm. That bein' the case, the both of you'll need to take special care that the blades have a sharp edge, and also make sure the handles have enough girth for the hefty hands of the Hanu.
Harvest season draws near and time's tight, but if you could prepare 'bout six scythes, Papawni and I can handle the rest.
I'm countin' on you. Now let's get to work.
You may now undertake deliveries for XRral Soj Metalwares. By delivering the requested items to Rral Soj and raising yourself in her esteem, you can ensure her clients receive their orders in a timely manner.
Items with a higher collectability will result in greater rewards upon delivery. Speak to Rral Soj to view the deliveries list.
Not only do the Hanu possess large palms, but their claws are sharp as glass. Perhaps not only the girth, but also the shape of the scythe handles must be given special care...
The sooner we can have those scythes ready, the better.
Thank you, this is a great help—exactly what I asked for, in fact. You're clearly an artisan o' talent.
Thank you. This is fine work—even better than what I hoped for, in fact. You must be an artisan o' some renown abroad.
In making your first successful delivery, you have begun to earn Rral Soj's trust.
Deliver the items Rral Soj needs, and deliver them often to improve the prospects of XRral Soj Metalwares!
Had a look at each o' the scythes, and I'm pleased to say the quality's up to par. Good work, both of you.
As for quantity, we've the six Forename prepared, two made by Papawni, and three by yours truly. With a grand total o' eleven, we've the amount requested by the client.
I'm sorry... I was so fixated on coming up with a design that was easy to use and maintain, that I barely had time to make them. If I'd been faster, perhaps I could've reduced Forename's burden...
Well, in the end your design was elegantly simple. That'll come in handy if we ever have to make more, and if our customers have an easier time maintainin' their tools, all the better.
I'll inform the client that the scythes are ready to be picked up. Won't be a moment.
Sorry for the wait. I have the scythes you requested here.
Marvelous! It was worth coming all the way to the city for such craftsmanship. Now we'll have a much easier time with the harvest!
For we Hanuhanu, the harvest is an immense task, and crucial to our way of life. The softer reeds are used as food, while the sturdier ones are used to thatch the rooves of our homes and more. You could say our livelihoods are built on reeds!
You both assisted in crafting the scythes, yes? Thank you so much for putting such care in your work!
Oh, stop it! I-It was our pleasure!
Heh, you act as if it's the first time you've ever been thanked for a job well done. You had plenty o' experience as an artisan before coming to work for me, didn't you?
I did, but an intermediary took care of transactions, so I never actually met a customer face-to-face. B-Believe it or not, this is the first time...
And I must say, the feeling is amazing! Really, really amazing! In fact, I should be thanking you, miss!
Oh dear! She really is as sweet as you said, Rral. I see why a longtime loner like you would speak so fondly of your new hand!
I-I told you that was jus' between you an' me!
I'll be letting everyone back home know that XRral Soj Metalwares is the best place to buy their supplies. You'll be hearing from me again before long!
I appreciate it. Do come again soon.
With a little word o' mouth, another order may come in before we know it. That said, Papawni, you clearly still need more practice with craftin' the essentials.
And until she has a proper handle on things, I hope I can continue to rely on your help.
Rral Soj is pleased with your efforts. She now considers you a Mettlesome Metalworker!
The next request will be available from Rral Soj upon reaching level 93 as a blacksmith, armorer, or goldsmith.
